Thank you for your well-wishes. A bit about myself. I'm actually a mom of 3 and we thought we're done. My kids are 7,5 & 3 and right now they're at home having a ruckus and driving my poor mother in law crazy (school holiday mah). So I cannot imagine myself having #4 and I was very careful about detecting my ovulation period and to avoid dangerous period but I guess God has His plans. Despite all measures, this one seems to stick. I'm feeling awful at nights, nauseous and vomited dont know how many times. Can hardly eat dinner my mother in law cooked but forced it down anyway. She didn't know yet. But hubby was very encouraging. I guess he loved children, even though he's a bit of a hot tempered person. But that's because he puts the interest of his children before him. That's why I'm in a bit of denial and in no hurry to see the gynae. But by my calculation, my EDD could be 29 January. However, I always deliver a few weeks earlier than EDD so it could be an early Jan baby. But it's still fun to be a part of a pregnancy group but I feel like I'm the oldest here. LOL.
So how's everybody today? Let me know your symptoms today? I'm hot like I have fever everyday and burping and indigestion and at nights my nausea went full swing. I dont't even know what I can eat anymore. Everything just seems to appear yucky to me.
sadly, the worst of boss is a woman boss!!! even though they had been married and pregnant before, i couldn't understand why they're behaving like this! such double standards! i've been involved in mummy groups before at each pregnancy and sadly i keep reading the same stories. really, i hope that you can find justice somewhere or maybe, in your next job, you get to have an extra nice boss!
Oh, today no nausea feeling as of now *touch wood...
just had my favourite spicy instant noodle, i know its not healthy, but its my crave!!
my indigestion is at night, as i only eat full meal during dinner time... so now i cut down rice intake....
I had instant noodle yesterday too haha. But once in a while it's ok . My indigestion is sadly all day but worse at night! when I burp, I feel nauseous so I vomit it out. Come out nothing but still nauseus. Think I must ask for anti-vomiting pills by gynae already. The last I had, it made me dizzy boy! So I sometimes had to choose, to feel nauseous or be dizzy!! Then if dizzy, can't drive!! Urgh I hate first trimester pregnancy!!!
Jasmine, I seriously dont't think you should be too borthered by what your manager says or do. Being pregnant, go for checks, take MC are simply part of the process. I had even seen some whom take weeks of MC cos they are too sick to work. As long as you have the proper documents and you did your best to do your work, there's nothing to be afraid of. You have your rights as an employee too with entitlement of MC, annual leave and maternity leave.
Being pregnant is a happy thing, why allow her to cause you unhappiness and inconvenience? I would go to my fav gynae, even if I need to take leave or MC. Most important is baby now!
If she tries to make things difficult, you can tell your upper management. If they too are inconsiderate, want to sack you to deny maternity leave, you can report to MOM
My only symptom is that rusty bittery taste. It sticks. So far, no cravings, nausea or anything of that sort. I'm starting on the milk/choco supplement. So far, vanilla is okay as long as it's coupled with Milo which will make the taste a lot better. Having a hard time finding clothes to fit these days so hopefully, i can go shopping for some clothes this Saturday.
Do updates if you have good deals on clothes...Originally Posted by chiching8256:797616

My EDD is on 26 Jan 13. Our first baby.....feel so excited... and looking forward to it
Wow, now we have 3 EDD on 26 Jan
Hey guys, thanks for all the encouragement. will take note of what was advised.
I'm thinking of changing my Gynae due to the cost incurred. Any review on these doctors Dr Tan from Onedoctors @ Nex, Dr Adrain Woodworth @ compasspoint and Esther Ng from Mt A ? Due to timing issues, i prefer Dr Tan from OneDoctors @ Nex as they are opened after 7pm.
But at the same time i'll hope to get a responsible good Doctor =)
Greatly appreciate your help in this =)
I'm sharing my excitement with the first timers! How wonderful! I wish everyone in here a happy and healthy 9 months. I was also quite lucky to have my firstborn before 30! I was 29! Hahaha...
Welcome and congratulations Chapter!
I just bought chicken rice from Ananas for lunch but suddenly dont feel like eating. Even the smell makes me wanna puke. Aiyoh. I regret buying $3 of it. This is the first time of the week that my morning sickness invaded the rest of the day!!! I feel so sian and keep feeling wanna puke! Some more my colleague gave me goreng pisang and I can only watch with sadness! Cold water seems to work for me though, on a temporary basis. Just slow sips throughout the day.

I'm very happy with dr tan as I mentioned I was already seeing him before so it didn't cross my mind to change gynae..
He's patient, has an email for you to contact him with further questions and he responds promptly.. his nurse is very friendly too..
So far I've never had long waits for any appointment ..
Thanks everyone for the well wishes
Me too.... push away food, my mum(im only child) understands if i push away the food she cooked, then she will find something else for me,Originally Posted by chiching8256:797635
Sadly to say, ny mother in law who had 3 sons including hubby, dont understand this, keep saying why dont eat, fish not smelly, this nice that nice, must eat more.... how i wish i can puke in front of her to protest..... then i will kick hubby to rescue me...
Btw cold water really helps, although we cant take cold water, i take it real slow, then followed by another glass of warm water to neutralize
i understand your feelings. My current boss also more or less typical type as what you describe. He did mention to me like this and said he is just giving me advice. He said i should pay full attention to my career first and achieve something before i have any family planning. He even told me how her wife struggle between work and kids. He himself has 3 kids. Now he is asking people not to have kids and "cheong" for him!! Everytime i think of this it just make me frustrated. Now i have been pregnant for 5 weeks more. i still keep this from him. i guess he will not happy when he hear that news from me. He just keep pushing new tasks on me only, in a sense to stress me and dont let me be pregnant. He is way of sarcastic during our 1-1 session and i just reply him: "you discriminate on pregnant woman!" He just laugh it off and say No, he is not. Till the day comes, i still dont know how to break the news to him. It really create sort of invisible pressure on my pregnancy.;(
Does any mummy here know yellow/brownish and white discharge is normal during first trimester?
These few days i have been experienced this....
What is actually a light spotting? does brownish/yellow discharge considered one?
If followed by cramp, please go doctor asapOriginally Posted by Bii:797668
Milky or pale yellow is common, i had it almost everyday.... wearing pantyliner is a must, but brownish followed by cramp, need to check with gynaeOriginally Posted by illuz:797677
