I've been on this job slightly more than a couple of years. And it is still tough i find and everyday is pretty much a learning process, handling my 3 young kids and w/o a domestic helper. But i've learned not to bottle up any unhappiness or worries. It is important to communicate to an adult, in this case, your spouse. (I do that. Unlike you, sometimes i dont't get to meet my hubby for over a week coz he's away most times.)
If you dont't communicate, pple around you may just assume everything's fine from your end. One important skill which i've learned is to take in the house duty call in your stride and go with the flow. For someone who was almost as near to perfectionist, i try now not to get overly stressed out if things do not go my way or as i've had already planned. Sometimes spontaneity does add zest to the sometimes monotonous house duties.
Wish you well! You can do it.
