i think i'll be more scared of the epidural needle than the contraction pain.....
Wooo..if we poo poo while we give birth (natural) it will be so embarassing.
But will we feel anything if we are on epid? I dont want to feel any pain..I will push when they instruct me to push but I dont want to feel any pain.
pipilili, you mean you wanna go for Epi? I scare of needles, even the dont know what IU/IV drip i told my Dr i dont want put ..hehe. (but dont think can)
I also heard after Epi its almost painless that you cant feel whether your tummy muscle is actually pushing isit?? Or does the pain level differs among all people?
Carisella, you also delivering at Thomson Medical Center? me also.. heard the so-called laughing gas is actually very smelly huh? and dont know if it can reduce a bit of the pain anot
I think epi is not painful if done correctly . I think the pain for epi is much much lesser than the pain for labour.....so I am definitely opting for it.
But some ppl say epi very pain.....I also dont know.
I think need to ask gynae cos I dont know anything...just hear ppl say then I listen. This is my #1 sooo sorry can't help much.
Actually i have been watching Youtube on how people labor and delivery. it freak me out, so my hubby asked me to stop watching it.
there are also videos showing how epi is being done. but i prefer not to click on it, just in case i have to use epi and because of the fear i dont do it.
i was thinking, ok fine, i go thru the delivery without epi , since is the contraction pain and once the baby is out , i should be fine. but then what about the stitching? how can i go thru the stitch without any anesthesia !!!!
yup yup, i will check with my gynae too on the options of not going epi and other anesthesia options.
didy...i very gu niang one... i really scare . ha ha .
Hi Mummies to be,
Organic Red Raspberry leaf, also known to herbalist as Hindberry, wild red raspberry, reapberry is often taken as a warm tea beverage. It is one of the more commonly used natural food for pregnant ladies to prepare their bodies in their very late stage of pregnancy to prepare for childbirth as it tones the uterine muscle preparing it for the intense contraction during childbirth. After giving birth, it is also recommended to take raspberry tea to help to shrink your womb size to pre-pregnancy stage and also to purge out any remaining blood clots.

haha actually i also very gu niang one... i think my pain tolerance is ok, but my hubby thinks my pain tolerance is very low, he say i'm like bean curd :S
but then... i dont want to think about the labour pain, and whether epidural or not now. procrastinate abit ... haha anyway gynae also havent discuss that with me.. think too early now.
Hi all mummies,
All the mummies here are so young, I turned 35 this and just now hving my 1st pregancy. I think 1 enough for me, alot of things need to settle too. Example, baby clothes, clot, stroller, milk bottle and etc. Still have to look for confinement lady, after 3 months maternity who look after the baby as my mother in law pass away many years ago. Really alot of things to look after.. Really stressful for all mummies.
