Hi can 6 months baby eat or drink birds nest or any other drinks which is better for him? Any suggestion? Thank you
I also dont't think bird's nest is a good idea. Actually, bird's nest is the saliva of the sparrow, the rest of the 'taste' is mostly sugar or honey and some herbs.
At 6 months, I think you things like diluted fruit or veggie juice is ok. A bit of barely water once in a while is ok. Otherwise, milk or water is still best.
Oh there is also a japanese brand of drinks for babies that come in small packets. (like our packet drinks like that) I've seen it at the baby section at john little at marina square and kiddy palace at century square. BUT, I've never tried them before cos almost everything is written in japanese on the packaging and I can't jugde how much sugar is inside...
yes i've bought the small packet drinks it's pigeon brand frm jp kiddy palace, it's sugar free. My son loves it chilled so once in a while will give him. Btw bird's nest is an allergenic food if i'm not wrong is start after 2 yrs.
i dont think its advisable to give bird nest at such a tender age.
best would be milk n water.
diluted juices is fine, or barley water w/o sugar.
