Just curious, any reason you insist on csect? And who's your gynae ?
I will try take see how... Maybe not so soon...
cos i scare pain plus my incident that time. i dont know if i really have the energy to push anot. so might as well lie there half body numb and can see dear son asap.
my gyane is Dr Tho Chin Keong from London Clinic. his clinic is at west area.
yea you better dont't take so early...
Asian babies are more prone to having jaundice... Guess we just got to accept that... =/ I dont't think there's really any way to prevent it...
But if you going for csect which will be 2 to 3 weeks earlier, then you can't wait till 2 weeks before EDD to drink coconut right? Too late already?
will check out with gynae on next visit on c-section.
Yea i think Asian baby are prone to have jaundice. hopefully dear son won't get it
yea if i opt for c-section need to drink earlier... have not told mummy that i'm opting for c-section... keke.. dont know what's her reaction ;p
Hi mummies, today I go Waston gt the $2 wet wipe. The texture is think n good. Me onli use Pigeon wipes for my #1. Future I can change n more cheaper.
Thanks mummies for intro the wipes.
Jaundice is usually caused by the baby's liver being not fully developed yet to break down the bilirubin in the body, usually takes about 1-2 weeks after delivery for it to mature. A pediatrician told me to sun dear daughter in the morning and evening sun for about half an hour, (afternoon sun too hot already), covering her eyes when she had high levels of jaundice, but not high enough to be admitted. dont't know if those remedies will help, but hubby is worried about the coming baby, so I'll just go along, I can't think of anything which will help to prevent jaundice. Some say it's because jaundice is "heaty" and coconut juice (not the meat) is "cooling" ? But since I'm already taking coconut juice.....
Natural birth actually recover faster than C-sect. Usually by the 2nd day can be discharged if no problems, but for C-sect, i think about 3 days? Plus they say the womb shrink back faster? But when thinking of the pain of natural birth, hahah C-sect is very tempting! But I heard that they say C-sec can actually be more painful during the recovery stage.
natural will recover faster than c-section is true. c-section is after pain. but i think also depends on individual body. i seen some recover quite fast too after c-section. but if you wanna have no2 maybe have to wait at least 1yr?
For my #1 is last min c-sect so i onli stay there for 4D3N, onli get down the bed on Day2. But my collea's sis also opt c-sect she stay in on tue nite n c-sect on wed morning and discharge on Sun (5D5N) dont know y her case so special, staying at Thomson.
I chose to gv birth on the Dec12 and my gynae ask me to go hospital on Dec 12 morning. But have not ask gynae i need stay how many days.
The pigeon I also buy refill packs cos I got the box and usual NTUC & kiddy palace selling 3packs @ $ 10.90 (if I did not rem wrongly). For travel wipe can get pigeon brands, 2packs @ $3plus. Waston gt sell Johnson baby small pack @ $2 (pink packing) I gt one pack to try gt very strong Johnson baby smell. I dont like.
sigh, even if they nag, i also just one ear in and other ear out, cos i no energy to say anything...take it easy ...think they also pity me when they see my pathetic look..
When my #1, the nurse gv me a lot of sterilizing pads and I still gt balance. Cos one day onli clean one after birth. If you bring your baby to polyclinic for check up, not enough can ask frm them (my frien teach me one).
