Oh dear, if milk only starts to flow after a week, then in the meantime, my baby have to drink formula milk? huh i dont want.......
will breast pump helps? I want my baby to start w breastmilk and hopefully can last as long as I can
getting lazy to get up to work nowadays, sigh.....why must i work?
Hubby has been trying to persuade me to BF, but i dont't feel like doing so
I find it troublesome...........
I will prefer to BF coz better for baby mah. But i scared that i no milk...... worried.....
ji there i am also new in these foum and blog.. my EDD is feb 4th and i am giving birth in Kandang Kerbau Hospital.. i still havent buy mny baby clothes dont know where to buy here
Gem, must take it naturally one. ask the CL cook you more soups .
Last time, after i gave birth to my gal, also no milk supply.
Latched her on since in hospital till go home, also no supply.
till 5th or 6th day, then the supply comes... so during my daughter's hospital stay, i asked the Thomson Medical Center nurses to give her limited and cup feeds...
But even tho my supply came, the supply is damn limited.
It sometimes depends on individual. my cousin got surplus milk maan, until she stored them full in the entire fridge. amazing maan and she did not eat or drink any soups. for me, i drank the papaya fish soup almost everyday till i cannot tahan... in the end, i tried giving all i can provide for 2-3 mths then stop...
most important is, dont stress yourself, take it naturally .
this wkend a lot of places have sales for clothes esp. i went taka, OG, Robinson expo n bot clothes n other stuff, burnt a huge hole in my pocket but got about 90% of items i need. i just left e cot n probably another 2 pcs of blanket, big towels, then more or less ok for the first 2-3 mths.
i have also been reading that all of us sure got breastmilk, just that e baby need to latch on correctly, or make use of breast pump, massage your breast, most impt must be patient, persist n relax, then e milk will flow smoothly. you can call e lactation consultant to your house, but that will be my last resort. i m also worried but i really really want to breast feed, sigh, see how
Yesterday went to a hubby's friend's baby shower. I was so envious coz she doesn't need to buy any of the more expensive stuff like breast pump, sterilizer, cot etc coz she got them all from her sis-in-law. I have to buy everything myself~
Sorry to interrupt. I have 10pack Chinese herbal brought from hock haw, original price $2/pkt. I'm willing to let go at $1/pkt. Pls pm me if you are interested. It will be self collection and cash.
Ya. i think so too. Cannot get too stressed up over breastfeeding.
I have a friend who got into depression partly due to not able to breast feed. (n plus other problems with CL, mother in law, etc)
So i think its really up to individual. we can try our best and see how .
If have, good, dont have, then maybe next time ... Just get formula then... bo bian...
Madako: Did you experience backache for this pregnancy?
But this time round, leg cramp almost everyday despite I exercise my legs before sleeping. Worse is some nights can cramp up to 3 times.
I did told my gynae about it last week during appt. She said body 'damage' before during the first pregnancy. That why now backache even more jialat. Plus, she said, if pregnant again, will be even more jia lat -.-"
Haix... sometimes the backache quite jialat until can feel like crying!!! Plus I realized, these 3 days, my nausea seemed to come back and no appetite start to set in too.
But this is logical. Our body after given birth to our daughters, sure have sme impact . Oh dear... better dont try 3rd one...
My backache depends. esp at night, more severe.
Daytime, maybe got distraction, still bearable.
Did you eat something wrong?
could the nausea thing come back at 3rd trimester?
For this, did you check with your gynae?
Strange, me still quite ok...
