for me,I dont really trust my mum's and mother in law's way of "taking care of baby" ...hehehe...although i know that they have more experience.. like for eg, both my mum and mother in law kept telling me NOT to pick up my baby whenever she cries...but I have read somewhere that babies from 0-3mths are TOO YOUNG to know how to manipulate you. And when they cry, it means they have needs to attend too. After 3mths then you can let your baby cry a little more before picking her up..I told my mum and she dont believe me.
and my mother in law mentioned that we must feed my newborn this chinese medicine thing to "expel" the black substance from their body once they are born. I kept telling my hubby " PLSSSS dont let his mum feed baby weird things."hehehe
maybe it works but to think logically, i dont think newborns should be fed "weird" things as their organs are still "new"...
I am a bad and stubborn daughter-in-law! muahahahahhaha
