today just went for my detail scan...
I'm having baby boy..
was told by the sonographer that he's quite big sized for 5mths old..lol..
he's weighing at 414g today...
I knew it is a boy since month 4,cuz he open his leg,..I just went for my scan on last Friday too,it's about 21 weeks, weighs 418g,but doctor didn't tell me it's overweight ...
I am 2nd time mum, and due in March too.
No worries about the low lying placenta. I was having the same problem during my first pregnancy too, and it moved up at the very last month. Was able to deliver naturally, with much help though.
Has anyone heard of PruFirst Gift from Prudential, good thing that one should consider when pregnant.
Yup I heard of it. I heard from a friend about the PruFirst gift thing. But it seems like the only good thing about it is we mothers can get it even*after 18 weeks of pregnancy whist all other insurance companies will exclude us.
Some of the benefits like the*$5,000*pregnancy complication pales in comparison to Great Eastern*which can*cover for much more than the 7 listed on*Prudential's website. As for the baby's congential illness*cover,*Prudential only cover for max $5,000 (plus it must surfaced within 2 years from delivery) whilst we have to commit to a lifetime of premiums*to their investment linked policy once we start on this plan. Since these Investment linked policy will eat up about 45% of our premiums in the initial years, it's as good as like they are using my own money to pay for the $5,000 which i felt I*can absorb it without having to commit to a lifetime of premium.*
Hihi i have the same edd as you hehe....anyway im super new to this forum
hi! EDD is 2nd week of March
Will be having my Fetal Assessment Scan in NUH on Tuesday next week.. Would it be trans-vaginal or trans-abdominal (right term???? )?? Anyone knows how much as well? Thanks in advance mommies! ^_^
The FA scan is done by scanning your tummy...
I did mine at singapore general hospital few days back.. it costs me about S$110/- (with GST). I guess since yours is at a public hospital as well, maybe around that range??
Mine was done at Radlink @ Paragon medical centre, costs $155 after GST.
Sorry to interrupt. I have 10pack Chinese herbal brought from hock haw, original price $2/pkt. I'm willing to let go at $1/pkt. Pls pm me if you are interested. It will be self collection and cash.
@Jespang and @Evie
Thanks for the reply! NUH just called a while ago.. the lady said $179+ .. maybe it's higher than yours coz I'm not SG citizen nor PR.. Thanks a lot!
Really excited for tomorrow ^_^
God bless to all mommies! ^_^
congrats elaine !! teehees!
where you girls decide to deliver at ? i guess mine will be mount A.
OooOo.. Will be delivering at Raffles Hospital.
My hubby and mother in law decided with me that I won't be doing the 2nd tri scan, cos my gynae told us the scan can detect around 95% of any abnormalities, and he can detect for me around 93%, so if we trust him, I do not need to spend on the scan, & the end result is my hubby & mother in law trust him without a doubt, cos he is my mother in law's gynae all the way since my hubby was born! Hee hee ...
Just done with my FA Scan yest, it was really heart-melting -- seeing your baby moving and every part of her body can be seen as well.. So awesome!
Btw, mine is a PRINCESS! It's a GIRL! everything's normal.. thank God, baby is healthy!
Will be going back to the Phils for my delivery.. Dr said it's better to deliver there, here quite ex especially if you're not citizen nor PR..
My scan costs $160 inc of GST... NUH...
I will be delivering at Thomson Medical Center..
Sorry to disturb your thread.
