Just to check which cake shop and buffet caterer you girls cater from?
shortlisted for me is sweetiest moment for cakes & smiling orchid for buffet
Maybe you can time roughly when is your baby's next feeding, pump out the 'excess' milk and store first then let the baby latch on so he wouldn't experience the forceful letdown. Then the next feed can feed on the stored breastmilk earlier?
Yeah it's tiring but jia you!!! It's better than no milk~
Thanks Eurostar, PTB7476, keefu and aadenalexis2008.
I have discharged on 16th Nov but baby still in hospital and need to stay for 14 days for observation. I have been going to hospital everyday, delivering my milk to him and to visit him, was so tiring. Every 3 hours still have to try to wake up and pump milk, seems that i really can't rest well also.
My confinement nanny will come next week, at least she can cook confinement food for me first.
For baby 1st month, i chose Bengawan Solo cakes as they can go and choose and collect the cake themselves, easier.
I ordered Neo Garden before and the food is actually not that nice . I still remember that they did not bring us the big scoops for the food and in the end, we have to go and buy ourselves. I will choose another buffet caterer but dont't know which one is nice. Any suggestion?

the letdown feeling i also not sure how to describe, like a sudden quick numbness in your breast, but yeah when you have that feeling, doesnt matter if your latching on or not latching on, milk will just drip from nipple. When he unlatch cos of that, i will stop him for awhile and wait for that letdown feeling to pass before latch him on again... but its damn tiring.... im almost looking like a panda lioa .... and im starting work next week.
And alittle angry with my maid, cos i have since started to pump to store, everytime i pump, she will say you want to pump now? Later pump until no milk for baby, i did not't bother to explain further. Everyone noes that pumping will help stimulate the breast and I only pump like twice a day, other times I will just be latching baby on. I dont know isit cos im too stressed or tired out, I find myself alittle sensitive everytime when she comments no milk and keep telling me about how fast her niece is growing on formula.. Btw, she and her sis did not't breastfeed at all.
anyway dont be stress...take it easy
if can feed breast milk feed, else you still have FM mah.....tink now FM is better than our mum time so no problem
I also not sure if I start work I still have energy to pump and store in fridge or not, unlike currently doing confinement what I do is eat/sleep/pumping/masssage
Try to pump as much as you can while on maternity to stock up, i did that for my first boy when i still was enjoying the 4 mths ML, it will run out very fast esp if your full time working mum. I dont know y but im not so keen on giving FM, but if really no choice cos supply low, i will give...
i'm also trying to stock up on breastmilk. need to go back school in jan. but if he is going to continue feeding every 2 hours at night by then, i think i'll have a tough time.. >.<
