yes, same here.. me also very tired easily recently... i m those kind that sleep during midnight even in my second trimester and wake up early the next morning... but starting from last week, i almost sleep before 12am daily and still very tired and sleepy the next morning... i slept at 10plus last night, wake up at 10plus this morning... after reading magazine for 30 mins, tired again... slept for 2 hours, wake up have lunch, tired and sleepy again now... OH NO!!!!
Does anyone experience sleeping problems? I would wake up several times in the middle of the night and try to go back to sleep after that, and would wake up feeling rather sleepy in the morning.
Lastly, anyone's booked at Mt. Alvernia? What shall I pack for the hospital bag?
What causes you to wake up? Frequent urination or other discomfort?
You can refer to this thread to see what other mummies have suggested what to pack for the hospital bag.
mummies, have you all decided on the names for your baby???
hee... so i m not alone... =)
I'm thinking of packing the hospital bag already. Husband says that it's too early. :P
Heard that it's recommended to pack hospital bag one month in advance.
Think I will, especially when I'm a first-timer. LOL. (:
oh!! i did not know must pack hospital bag so soon... what things to pack? i also first time mummy, not sure...
Hmm, I not very sure what to pack also.
Only read online, these are what I can rmb.
1) Going home clothes.
2) Camera, chargers for mobile phone and camera.
3) Marriage cert, if you wanna register baby's birth this trip.
4) Nursing Bra, if you intend to nurse.
5) Maternity Pads. (Hospital should be providing, but it's those tie-string kinds)
6) Nursing dress/top.
7) Laptop, incase you get bored.
8) Your I/C and hubby's.
9) Baby's mittens & booties.
10) Disposable panties!
The list goes on if you're kiasu and wanna bring lotsa stuffs.
How do we choose nursing bra?
Maybe say, one month or more before your delivery.
Measurement is as per normal for daily bras.
There are several kinds of nursing bras.
Choose the ones you're more comfortable with.
Got front clip down, front tab open, or those pull down ones.
There are also underwired and non-underwired ones.
Also, there are normal hooks at the back or wear-on ones.
There are quite some variants for your choice.
Mothercare sell some, not all kinds.
However, I dont't find them appealing to me.
Plus, the price is quite high-end. (:
It is advisable to feed your newborn as soon as possible.
Maybe say 2 hours after birth.
You can always ask nurses to bring your baby from the nursery to you.
Feeding times are very frequent for newborns.
And it's recommended so, so that baby will latch on more successfully.
Plus, it enables baby to recognise mum's nipple from the start.
Btw my EDD is 3rd Oct~ going to deliver at Thomson Medical Center. Gynae said might be early 38weeks? I just went for my checkup yesterday. after 3 weeks my weight only increased by 600g. and my baby's weight also increased by 600g, now 2.1kg at 32weeks 4days.. baby eating all my sugars away~ no wonder I kept wanting sugary stuff recently..
omg Im so scared now ! 4 weeks more to 37th week [full-term] :O somemore gynae can't see my baby's gender at all so must think of 2 names x_x
