This is a discussion on EDD October within the Year 2011 and earlier Mummy forum, part of the Mummy Meeting Place category; Hi Yiching, So far my gynae didnt mention anything about blood test... Will go for check up again this Saturday.. ...
Hi Mummies, I went for check up today and gynae said baby's head is engaged but he is in face up position. Usual position is face down. If face up, labour will be more difficult, longer, and I will feel more painful with each contractions! Do you know of any exercise or tips to make baby turn face down? Possible when baby is engaged? I read that I can do this position, being on my hands and knees for 20min 3 times a day, and do pelvic tilts exercise... dont know whether they are useful...
Did your gynae suggest any solution to you? Maybe you can take a look at this website:
Labour and birth
my baby's head turn down. Gynea said can give birth natural. But she found the water bag slightly less than normal. She suggest to endure and suggest admit tomorrow. Any mummy face problem as me. My Gynea she won't be in Singapore during 13/10 to 22/10. Worry also.
Thnx, yinching. Found this relevant article in the website you recommended: Getting your baby into position for birth | BabyCenter Singapore
When I went for checkup on 30 Sep, my gynae was on leave too. Another covering gynae assist me but he didn't say anything about the amontic fluid. Actually I opt for c-sect but I decided to go for natural birth. Did your gynae say when can deliver? My gynae will back next Tues. I think I need to make apptn with him.
Water can increase fluid? Your hubby ' s niece was natural birth or endure. Any risk if keep waiting?

Niece was natural birth. She delivered in US, over there the doctors are very pro-natural, they will not rush you to c sec, to induce, to take epidural etc... They will let you be as natural as possible. So different from here.
I dont know there is risk or not to delay also.
I like my gynae. He's very careful and he said everyone's babies r important to him. If he's on leave, he won't be accepting patients EDD around that time. I think it's only responsible.
Hi gals!! My baby boy has finally arrived on 4 Oct 2011 and weighs 3.38 kg at birth!
The C-section aftermath was a nightmare but it was ok after the 3rd day and that's why I can finally sit down in front of my comp now and update you guys this news! However, poor Haydan is still under UV light for mild jaundice.. doc says it's mild (at level 12 and it only surfaced on the 4th day of birth) but apparently, e jaundice level is tough to go down and may have to continue UV treatment for another 2 days ：（ ：（ ：（ (I'm so worried as I type this.. )
Jia you, to all of you, and keep those excitement going! =D
PS: I hope we can continue to keep this thread going and share our motherhood experiences even after Oct..
PSS: Have been very down during the past few days worrying about 2 things: (1) Baby's jaundice (2) No breast milk... Baby's jaundice need to be below level 10 to be considered safe and the nurse says breast milk will come slower for C-sec mummies.. sigh... ;-(
Congrats!!!!!! OMG! it's always exciting to hear another baby pop
