Very normal when baby hit 4 months. As during preg, our hair didn't drop.
And I notice my nails wasn't growing as fast as compared to during preg. And also now go back to easy chip off like it always did!
Preg give me strong and fast growing nails, thick black hair! Now all no more.
my nails is still growing very fast too! i'm so busy cutting my baby's nail and my own nails!
anyway i read online...dey say snake year is a good year... (put aside the cunning personality)
Ancient Chinese wisdom says a Snake in the house is a good omen because it means your family will not starve. This could be taken metaphorically to mean that a Snake could never have a problem with his family starving because he is such a great mediator, making him good at business. Or it could mean that a Snake would be willing to sacrifice his possessions, something the Snake has a lot of, in order to pay for his family’s food. Any way it is interpreted is representative of the Snake’s character and is a measure of the value he puts on his material wealth. The Snake is keen and cunning, quite intelligent and wise.

Haha....I am not thinking about getting pregnant yet...at least not so soon. It's been quite exhausting!
I am quite into horoscope also. In fact that is why I want to have a bunny boy. My horoscope is dog, and rabbit, snake and horse will complement dog. But if I want to have a second child, a horse will be better.
But too early. I am very happy having just 1 child.
that is good... i actually thot of going for horse too... then one of my friend told me her boy is 10 this yr and she regretted not having another one bcuz when dey gets older...they will need someone to play with (to use up their energy), so if there is no other children (near their age)..e person dey will turn to is US! so everyday after work she has to go home play with him and all her energy is drain up and this goes on for a lifetime!
my son's hair also quite alot when born but we shaved him when he was 1st month and his hair till now... ppl still thought we just shaved him... his hair grow very slow and his hair are those soft and stick to skin type.
i have to kept cutting his nail every 3-4 days, mine is around 1 week cut once but my hair does grow long very fast.
i also thought of having a horse cuz both my husband and me are monkey, son is rabbit so another horse will be quie matching. hee...
Oh! We can all get pregnant all over again!
dear all mummies..i went to the babyfair today...it looks like e whole singapore is there bcuz there is baby fair, natas fair and watson sale!!!
Hi mummies,my boy start flipping at 3 months plus, only if I put him on the mattress for tummy time.
But recently, since last week, he is flipping ridiculously everywhere. In his cot, play pen, mattress on floor, the worse is he flip in his rocker and even in yao lan at anytime of the day so long he awake and lie down. Last time I can put him in cot and let him watch musical mobile till he fall back to sleep after a feed, now he flip. I also can put in rocker while I do some stuffs in kitchen now he flips and almost fell off the rocker. What sld I do? Only put him on floor mattress? What about sleeping at night? I hasnt sleep well coz I keep got to check on him if he flip.
your boy very fast! maybe on his cot you can start putting bolsters all around him to not let him have e space to turn? for rocker i believe there is a safety belt somewhere?
actually since he already knows how to flip...e safest way is to put him on e playmat and let him have more tummy time...and also to learn to crawl... put his fav toy in front of him and encourage him to crawl towards it...
for night time maybe you can use baby monitor? at least e baby monitor not only transmit sound but also e baby movement.. if your baby flip and block his airway..he will definitely struggle and e monitor light will blink...
I leave his cot empty except for the bumper, also scare the pillows an bolster will suffocate him.
And the baby monitor....actually it's very silly reason why I refuse my hubby to buy.
Its I am scare that it will transmit 'other sounds'
very stupid I know but I really scare of all these ESP I watch the paranormal activity few years back.
Now I bought a playmat, let him lie there and flip . He did attempt to reach out to things by jerking forward.
I think now really got to watch over him all the time
Haha! i never watch paranormal activity but i heard about it...so i totally understand.. i guess you just have to look after him since he is able to "move" around now...
my son only started to flipped by himself since last week and whenevery putting him to sleep, he will want to flip over... this is another headache ... need to watch him and never left him alone.
any of you mummies come period ? i kept having spotting , does this consider period? i am still breastfeeding him.
i tink really is a headache once he starts flipping... maybe at noon time you can let him sleep on his tummy instead? when he get used to it...then you dont have to worry about him suffocating ... cuz he will know how to lift his head and find air to breath...
i dont know if my consider period not bcuz only when i stand it will bleed...when i lie flat e blood doesn't flow out and it did not lasted a week like i used to have it...
When he sleeps in the cot, I actually remove all pillows and bolsters in case he suffocates. I always put him on his back, but he will always flip and sleep on his front. Initially I would turn him back, but he screamed and cried when I did that. Now I just let him sleep on his front. He will lift up his head and turn if he can't breathe. But I still check on him frequently at night.
As for the rocker, my boy doesn't sit in it much now, initially he used to try to flip, then I would carry him up. Now he refuses to lean back and keeps sitting up and touching his feet. Playmat may be the best for him now, if you need to do house chores, maybe consider baby carrier or sling?
More work for us right? Haha
Now he sleeps on his side, and in between his leg he will 'kiap' his bean sprouts pillow. Like the way we sleep!
And he will flip on his tummy to sleep, but he didn't turn his head sideways. Or maybe before he did I turn him back down.
I am still not very comfortable for him to sleep like that. Even when he sleep sideways I keep checking he ok or not.
He doesn't like rocker now, keep flipping even the safety belt not safe, I place him on playmat now and in front of the mirror.
He likes and can stare for long time, I manage to complete some chores!
Any mummies start to drop hair?
I have been started drop lot of hair since 3.5 months... now 5 month .
The amt was scary... Flooring , bed, esp after wash hair all is my hair.
Yeah I was not too comfortable when my boy slept on his front too, so initially I kept turning him back or even stopped him from flipping but no matter what, he will always end up on his front. His head is most of the time sideways so at least the airway is patent. This has been ongoing for almost two months so now we are all used to it! Nowadays he crawls in his sleep too... I sleep with him, and I find him inching closer and closer to me!
I actually have not't bought a playmat yet, I should go get one soon! Maybe that will entertain him for a while... Have been alternating between putting him on the bed for tummy time or carrying him, very tiring!
