Yes I agree they should have remote control and I think it will be a best seller product haha.
Now I need to find how to fit his pacifier in his mouth without it keep coming out. Then I be more free.
Try looking out in the forum that ppl do order parts from overseas.
you can try your luck with

Yes yes happyqueen - agree that the electric yaolan has some distinct advantages! Oh we figured out a way to control it from a lying down position: place the power socket within your reach using an extension cord so that you can turn it on/off without getting out of bed; place the yaolan next to your bed and tie a thin rope to the top of the sarong so that you can activate the rocking by tugging on it while lying down. Almost as good as remote control!
P/S: let me know when you have figured out how to get around the pacifier problem haha!
what is the reason you all are getting yaolan?
currently my baby sleeps on my bed but we are thinking of getting him a cot. now i see so many pple getting a yaolan, so maybe it is a better choice then a cot? did you all get a cot? baby does not want to sleep in it? so cot is useless?
i realise my baby will not sleep when i bottle feed him but fell alseep easily when i breastfeed so i am quite worried that when i got back to work, he will not sleep when bottle feed. the yaolan can coax him to sleep?
i think it depends if your baby likes to sleep on the cot a not
for mine, he does not so my mum believe in babies sleeping in yao lan
it be a bit better cos he might think that we are carrying him so he will not "jump" up when there is large noises...more security in a sense..
yes my boy also needs me to bf him so he will sleep
putting him in the yao lan by using pacifier can help to relieve this for me
So your milk supply increased...can share how much you pump with swing n now with harmony? How much did you get harmony for? Actually contemplating if I should invest in another pump as if my milk supply still so little, I'm thinking of stopping bf after I return to work in dec. dont't wanna waste money if another pump still yields same result
Hey ask you mummies something: how often does your baby nap in the day? Mine sometimes naps in the morning after her feed and bath, but the whole afternoon she doesn't seem to be able to fall asleep for too long - wakes every 5 or 10 minutes and then fusses unless she is carried. At night around 10pm onwards also very fussy - last night fell asleep only at 2+ am and woke at around 6 am. Not sure if this is normal?
What are the food we must avoid when bf?
I think I have limited selection of food to eat cos I scare it will affect the baby
I used to get about 40 ml when using swing but I could hit 100ml before. So when I get about 40 , I decide to try manual pump. The first day I hit 100. As I got enough supply for the day, I pump when I feel my breats a bit harden which can get me up to 150 or more especially in the mornings after I wake up. But at least I can get at least 100 ml using manual. I have not tried my new soft shield on the swing to check what is the real problem but I guess I have to go down to their service center to fix the swing. Cos the tube always got water run in which I scare I will spoil the machine.
I also thinking if I should stop bf after I get back to work in Jan as I think I be quite busy and my boy likes to suck when he goes sleep which I cannot do so when I'm working. But I scare he does not get enough antibodies so dilemma .
On good days, my boy sleep after drinking in a day and wake up only during feeding time. He is always wide awake after bath so it takes longer for him to go back sleep after bath.
He is an night owl and quite awake after 10 pm and does not get to sleep after his next feeding which is close to 1 to 2 am . Then he wakes up around 4 to 5 am for his next feed and morning around 7 to 8 am . It seems like we have a similar pattern.
For the past few nights except last night, he fuss from 10 pm till next day 7 am then sleep. Those are the terrible days so I have to ggoogle why babies cannot sleep at night when we make sure his diapers are clean, wipe him so he does not get sweaty , apply ru yi oil etc... but still fuss!
But I think your gal seems normal cos they are more awake now to play for a while. I play with my boy for a few minutes in his playpen . When I leave him alone, he will cry! So naughty...
Do you still pump out after each feed.? dear daughter is on 2 hours schedule, plus with my 5yo around, got not time to pump. So worry supply will drop. But recently notice dear daughter want to feed only after 3hrs. Do you wait for feeding cue or feed on schedule?
