Hello everyone!! Wow! Have not come online for a while. Where did everyone go? Why noone post anymore? Hmmmm.....
Hi Mummies..how's your babies responding to you all so far??
My baby now can respond everyone well except me..he doesn't smile at me often but will smile at others and it making mi rather upset as I hav been looking after him all these while..does anyone of you hav similar situation or do you all have any idea y is it so??
do try to be more 'drama',n use a sing song tone whenever you are playing n talking to your baby... try singing songs or playing simple games too... like tickling for example... always try to make eye contact, position your face in front of your baby's eyes... n smile ALOT!!!
Hi Erin07, mrs_eg is right... i read somewhere that right from the first month, mummies and daddies should flash a smiling face every morning and say good morning to the baby... then slowly, the baby will know how to smile at you.
I did try to do that, and now my baby will smile at me after a feed and when I say "hi"... Now my mum and my hubby's also using my "hi" method to get baby to smile "on command". hahah
any of you are sending your baby to infant carecentre? Will be going back to work soon and most likely my baby will be going to infantcare...any advices that may help us to mentally prepared for the transition?
have been feeding baby bottles in the daytime to prepare her for the change...she like pigeon instead of avent..haha..
Hi mrs_eng & kaymummy, thanks for the suggestions I also worry my mood will affect baby cos last few wks was preparing for exam so was rather stress and during that period is when my baby start to smile to Ppl..hope I can catch his attention before going back to work if not will be having lesser time with him..
