Yah! Even the slightest touch hurt! I had fever from it. Then when baby starts feeding, it's nipples turn to hurt. Aaaargh!! But despite the pain now n then, breastfeeding is a nice time to bond with baby. Cant wait for it....
Oh n about the feet, i meant i thought they get swollen from carrying all the weight on our body. Straining the feet maybe??
Baby Expo Fair 22 to 24 April.. Can go check out those baby stuff, hopefully they sell those pumps and bottles too.. hehe..
Can't sleep.. insomnia and numbness in the left hand.. been on-going since i became pregnant.. if you ask if my sugars are high.. my 3 months average was recently taken.. 6.7 doc said it's ok wonder what's wrong though 1 more week to know baby's gender.. ahhhh.. can't wait
Any of you have had dreams or gut feelings about your baby's gender? I can't wait for my scan too. Called the hospital to bring forward my appt by one week, heh...
Some ppl say that if toddlers are attracted to you when you're preggie, you're having a baby of the opposite gender to the toddler... Anyone knows if its true?
So far no little boys or girls have been smiling at me... =( Only my daughter kicks or hits me in the stomach sometimes.
My husband n me are somehow sure it's a girl. Just a feeling we have... He's already calling her name when he talks to my belly. Told him not to in case it's a boy and he might hurt his feelings. Lol. We are hoping for a girl but if it's a boy we wouldn't mind, as long as baby's healthy. I hope you'll find out your baby's gender too. Im feeling the same way I guess. My scan is in 11 days time n ive been counting down. Really hope we'll find out. So at least we can be sure what to call baby n then start shopping! Lol... So when r you going for scan then?
Oh n ive had lots of crazy dreams about baby's gender. Once i was on the scan bed, 2 docs were checking on me then they started arguing about the gender! "boy!" "nooo girl!" "no its a boy" its a girl!!" over n over again the argued. Another dream i had again a doc was scanning me n the doc was Tom Cruise like in Top Gun!! then he started talking like he an army officer! He went "target seen.mission accomplished!it's a boy!" lol. My hubby said i think too much about it thats why i get those crazy dreams...
my scan will be on 28 Apr... Can't wait! Actually I've already reached 20 weeks now, but cos I changed some of the appointment dates earlier on, so the gynae just pushed back all the subsequent appointments too.
thanks for the suggestion. okie, i shall wait til i give birth and try at the hospital then. now considering between ameda and avent duo.
carisella, me too! i have insomnia since the day i found out I'm pregnant til now. i suspect coz of this, my immune system is very weak coz keep falling sick. now down with flu and sore throat again. grrrrr...
ladies, i read that sleeping with your feet propped on a pillow and wearing socks helps to reduce water retention and leg cramps. maybe can try that?
i dreamt about having a boy a few weeks after i found out I'm preggie. then a few weeks ago, I dreamt that the sonographer tells me that I'm having a girl. lol.. but last night had nightmare! dreamt that i got menses! freak me out man.
my mother in law asked my youngest nephew if he prefers a didi or meimei to play with him. his answer is didi. then my sister In law asked one of her sons if he prefer didi or meimei, he also said didi. hhahaha.. hopefully next gynae scan reveal the answer. i'm only seeing my gynae on 30th and he has not even arranged for me to do detail scan for my wk 20.
And needless to say I look forward to every appointment just so I can see him again. But being examined by a male gynae is still weird .. quite paiseh especially since here they dont't have female nurses in the room with you.
Hi ladies, thanks on the response on the pantang stuff. I ask my part time maid to continue to change bedsheets as normal. My mom nag at me to change and have clean bedsheets as I get sick quite easily…
Having morning sickness today and no mood to work. Later lunch will have problem again.. Hungry but scared to eat and just throw out… sigh..
Welcome to Sept thread! Hope more ladies will join us.
I'm 18 weeks today, baby's movement getting stronger now. Cant wait for a real proper kick! Good to have this forum isnt it? All of us have something in common, a growing belly & appetite! Be even more exciting to read what you ladies have to say once EDD is approaching!! Woooohoooo!!!
But where I am now, they expect you to just strip off your clothes right in front of the doc... so I have to take off everything on my bottom half, put the clothes on a chair and walk across the room to the bed! felt so naked, hah... everything is just out there, and the whole time doc is there. think us Asians (or at least me) am still quite shy to strip in front of strangers! =P
