Hey you ever get a feeling like suddenly wanna faint? Just happened to me again just now. So scary.. Yesterday lucky hubs was with me, in the middle of crossing the road i just feel like 'black out'. So i stopped in the middle for a while. Today again! Just when i got off the train. Cold sweat, eyesight like fuzzy... I know if i continue I will fall. So again i stop n sit on the stairs. So worried. Why ? Is it because i dont eat meat??
i think you need to ask for iron pills from your gynae. it happens to me every now and then.
Eh.. you're vegan? If you're vegan, it might be the iron deficiency and best to consult your gynae regarding your diet.
Last week Fri, had a very bad headache, cold sweat and went home while hubby went to buy food. Was alone at home and i started to hallucinate ( i saw a lot of people walking around in the house, like shadows like that) and then i saw stars and birds for the first time!! .. walked quickly to the bedroom , on the fan, lie down and immediately called my hubby and he rushed home.. Damn scary.. first and last time *prays hard*
Thank you ladies. Will see the doc tomorrow morning.
Carisella, I'm not 100% vegan. I just dont't eat meat. I take fish but not everyday. dont't take chicken much either, maybe once a month. I will have to load up on 'iron' food. I thought of the thai girl news too, so scary right. See what the doc say tomorrow. Hope i'll get over this phase soon. Plus the weather now so hot, makes it worst i think. If everyday go out or to work take cab also will be bankrupt!
So sad tomorrow hubby cannot go see gynae with me, plus he going back to reservist next week.. Mix feeling of happiness and sadness..
Happiness : I have the whole bed !!
Sadness : No one eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with me
Still can't determine sex of baby so sad means I still have to wait 2 weeks!!
Reservist every night can come home right? At least you wont be sleeping alone. Ure not working? If you bored go over your friend's place or mum or etc... Wont be so sian.
Just now scan , Baby's head and Tummy same size, plus the EDD date jumped back to Aug :O Baby getting too big? suppose to be 18 weeks 6 days today.. but then after the scan, become 19 weeks 6 days instead D:
Working but office always so bored.. next appt next month, so waiting for detailed scan at Thomson on the 23rd instead.. haha.. luckily that day hubby no reservist training!!
I just reach work, so lazy to work nowadays. Me & hubby both must work weekends. But we have same days off on weekdays. My job quite flexible, it's not so bad. you also waiting for BTO? Me too! I apply 4 times already you know. Now we starting to look at resale as well. Crazy HDB prices! We gonna see how in a year, if still nothing we might move to my hubby country. Aiyah for now i just wanna get pregnancy over n done with. Think too much also stress. Lol..
Wah that means you might have your baby sooner than you think. August is 4 more months!! So exciting!! I hope mine also skali bring forward to August. Hari Raya baby!! More hong bao!! Lol....
Just puked again - and I turned 19 weeks yesterday! So tired of this never ending pregnancy ms...
Carisella - actually I dont't remember *boink boink* my girl's buttocks much when she was a new born.... think she looked so fragile we didn't dare to touch her much back then! =P
But definitely more confident now with this 2nd baby. At least we won't panic anymore when he/she cries!

Carisella - oh i didnt know about that pantang. In that case i hope you will give birth when ure ready instead & enjoy mooncake in august! Lol... Hmmmm, mooncake... So nice right.
Babybull - you must be extra tired being pregnant with a young one as well. Have to take care of your 1st child & then your pregnancy MS etc. Ask hubby for massage every night ok!
Chocobaby - yeah I'm more tired with this pregnancy, cos my daughter needs so much attention now plus we're living overseas. No family around to help out. =(
you're quite lucky though, your boy is old enough to help tend his younger sib after you give birth. When I was at Ikea restaurant sometime back, we saw this very nice older brother (sec school age) helping to feed, burp and carry his younger baby brother (around 3 mths old) while his parents had breakfast! So sweet right..
Carisella - haha baby's buttocks become bouncy only several weeks after birth as they drink more milk and put on weight, unless you have a very big baby. When they're first out, their skin is quite dry and peeling, not really attractive yet. Also not enough fat there to pinch =P
Babybull - I hope my older boy will be like that... Fingers crossed. Already telling me he's going to teach baby how to dance like professional, how to kick @ss so nobody can bully & how to get away from me when I nag! Lol... What you mean ure overseas? Ure not in Sg now or ure not Sgreans? My parents have migrated a long time ago too, luckily I have my sister & other families still around. But it's exciting when my parents or Hubby's parents come for a holiday. I hope ure coping well tho...
Carisella - haiyah you ! So funny! Everything you can't wait... Lol. you boink boink your hubby 1st , after a month or so then you boink boink baby. :-p
I can't wait for baby's first HARD KICK, I can't wait to know the sex so I can start buying lots and lots of nice baby clothes, I can't wait for this pregnancy to be over (but i also dont't want baby to come out so fast *fickle-minded*) so i can finally enjoy my raw salmon and oysters and a glass of ice cold BEER!! I can't wait for Baby to call me MAMA!!
And i seriously can't wait to BINGE on JUNK FOOD and ICE CREAM and EAT LIKE A PIG!! OMG!! lolz.. so many of the can't waits to do !!
How to Avoid a Cesarean - Ten Steps to Take for a Healthy Delivery, Page 3 of 6 - Associated Content from Yahoo! - associatedcontent.com
Actually saw this web on "how to avoid a cesarean" .. haha.. dont know how true but i like this two points from the webby..
3-Stay Home for as Long as Possible During Early Labor
Early labor is the longest stage of labor, especially in first time moms. You will be more comfortable, and less stressed in your home environment and your pain level will stay lower at home than once you arrive at the hospital. Staying home during early labor also helps you avoid unneeded interventions like enforced fasting, routine IV's, and constant EFM which can all increase your chances of Cesarean delivery.
4-Avoid Induced Labor if Possible
Studies have proven that the average first time mother actually has a gestational period of 41 weeks and 1 day. According to the research you aren't "overdue" until you hit 42 weeks. Be sure you discuss with your doctor or care provider whether an induction you may be discussing is absolutely necessary. Many inductions fail for the simple reason that the baby wasn't ready yet. In fact, medically induced labors are associated with an increase in Cesarean rates three times higher that of "God appointed" labors.
Carisella - Its actually not that long . Time flies when you have a newborn! Barely any time to eat or sleep especially if you dont't have confinement nanny or in-laws to help.
I believe the peeling skin is from the leftover vernix (white creamy substance covering baby when born) and also because they've been immersed in amniotic fluid for so long... so their skin needs a little time to adapt to the outside world. Will resolve on its own after a while. Shouldn't be ezcema at such an early age? Let's hope your baby doesn't inherit daddy's skin!
Chocobaby - We're Singaporeans, but living overseas for a couple of years. Your boy sounds so cute, wanting to teach the baby to kick @ss and run away from you! Haha he's going to be one loving brother!
Carisella - why cannot eat junk food and ice-cream during pregnancy? That's what I've been surviving on so far , since my baby rejects most proper food.
Oh, and the study you found about inducing labour is true. We decided to induce my girl at 40 weeks cos too impatient to wait further, in the end nearly kena c-section cos no progress after almost 28 hours of labour. Only after the gynae said to prepare for caesarean THEN she finally decided to come out. So since then we always think that this kid must 'threaten' her otherwise she won't move! =)
