Think its not necessary to go back to glendeagle, can check with your gyn if he/she can go to mt a or not. cos some gyn can go to a few hospital to do the delivery for your baby. my gyn is also at glendeagle but i choose to go to mt a for my delivery.
you can also go for their free tour of their maternity ward and facilities of these hospital and compare which one do you prefer in terms of services, pricing and environment. quite a lot of ppl recommend mt a because of their service, environment. I feel that its you who will be going through the process of delivery so chose a hospital that you like. just my 2 cents worth. ^^
Maybe if i choose that hospital, we can see each other there. Have you went for their maternal tour? I dont't really like their service on the phone, when i ask some questions, they just simply reply me with "you can check out at our website." Where else for Glen E the receptionist was so willing to help me with my enquires.
oh is it? that is bad. first impression not good already.
i did not went for the tour. I only knw they have the tour after i went for my detail scan there. If not, would have go for it at the same time. Anyway i got only 2 hospital to chose from my gynae, Thomson Medical Center or mount A.
In terms of enviorment, i guess glen e would be good and the area is centralise.
Please share your views and comment aboutTMC with me too, cos Thomson Medical Center is also one of my choice of hospital to go to. Thanks ^^
Glen E kept delaying the maternal tour and my hubby wont be around for the next 2 month till i give birth. We decided on which hosptial, that can give us a tour before he leaves Singapore will be our choice. Went to MT A and Thomson Medical Center on sat, personally prefer Thomson Medical Center after visting the 2 hospital. The nurses there seems to have better knowledge, more willingly to help with the enquires and the tour was more detailed. The enviroment there is pleasent and quiet. As for MT A, we were late for the matenal tour (luckily we were late or else we would not have seen all the backstage drama) The expercience was not a good one, in 1 ward we can see that nurses were talking very loudly, shouting across the corridoor to another nurse asking her for somethings and from my hubby's view they seems quite "blur".
Any mum been to any hospital tour at Kandang Kerbau Hospital? Btw is it free?

After reading some of the mummies feedbacks on bf issues they encountered during their stay at Thomson Medical Center, I might not want to go there cos I want to bf too if I can and dont want to have any unpleasant experience. I will stll go for the tour since both hospital are near each other. Will update again after my visit. ^^
