Sighh... I'm so sad now, suddenly got a lot of stretch marks around my belly button...
Thanks Pigletif... Your mum have it too? I thought it's hereditary... My mum doesn't have any stretch marks how come i have??
Baby jaundice level went up to 227 today again...
Have to do blood test at polyclinic tomorrow...
Pray that it will go down tomorrow if not must go back to Kandang Kerbau Hospital again..
Abit regretted having baby at this age.. didnt have enuff time to play.. wanna go pub at nite..
Currently, my mum in law is helping me in my household chores and my cofinement food.. but my hubbby and i are taking care of the baby all by ourselves..
Worried that when i return to work, my hubby will have to look after the baby all by himself..
During the first month, the baby will keep getting up in the nite to drink milk..
last nite was the worst nite (nightmare), keep getting up every hour..
Now iim very tired.. How long will this lasts until the baby wont get up in the middle of the nite..?
If you are breastfeeding, it is challenging.. I was struggling during the 1st baby but now better after all the 2 experience..
I dont know what is your feeding like, on demand or schedule?
Mine, I on schedule feeding but some situation will be on demand. Still I will try to stick back to my schedule for feeding eventually...
My feeding schedule is:
1st feed in morning : 6am
then will be every 3 hourly which is 9am, 12pm, 3pm, 6pm, 9pm, 12nm, 3am then back to 6am...
I have problem feeding the 12nm and 3am as baby fall asleep after one side breastfeeding.. Normally I try to wake him up to feed the other side so that he can sleep thru the 3hour or 2/1/2 hour..
If fed one breast, he will wake up 1 hour later so will try feed him both side unless really cannot..
So far with the schedule, it help me to know what come next better..
If baby want to drink milk at 7am, I will only feed him 1 side, so that at 9am, i can feed him again the full feed....
Hope this help..
By the way, its quite difficult to wind the baby after his milk. He will get hiccups after that.. how come... ??
Hi All i am back home already.. Sorry to update late.. Me having back labour. And the pain is killing me. And i cannot endure and go for epidural. However is quite a horrible experience for me. The pushing is already 1 hr. and Plus my gynae help me to get my baby out. THink i have very bad torn below.. The stitching is horrible too. Till now still pain. Almost fainted that day after giving birth. No strength at all. My contractions lasted for more than 15 hours. Really scary for me.. My baby gal is about 3.01kg. But got slight jaundice. everyday need to sun bathe her.. at first i dont have breast milk. However now i feel the engorgement. How do use a manual breast pump??? Thanks
how to use breast pump? i also asked about this question when i discharged from hospital. the 1st day i reached home, i try to pump but nothing came out. here are a few steps you may want to try.
1) make sure all the parts of the breast pump are fixed properly.
2) try to massage your breast and try squeezing out to see whether is there any milk come out.
if dont have, than take a warm towel and cover your breast and massage again.
the above works for me, hope it helps you too..
my milk supply for 1st few days is around 30ml - 40ml from both breast.
but it increase as i try to pump every 3 hours in the day. I did not wake up in the night to pump.
so now my baby is finally back home, i latch him on everytime. no more pumping.
my delivery is scheduled for this Tuesday 3pm. csect. very nervous. i can't do normal...but even if I can do normal delivery ...I will be super scared. csect also i very scared. 2nd child already but still scared to go through it again. Tomoro night sure cannot sleep.
good luck tika ^^ baby will be just fine.. i guess if im you, i would choose GA haha.. sleep so i wont know they are cutting me -.-
tika > wish you have a smooth delivery... !!!
How are you september mum coming along? Excited that your EDD is coming soon? After giving birth, now trying to cope with looking after the newborn baby
The breast mlk or formula water is enough for them..
Dont fed them too much water if you have to, not good for them at this small age..
Hiccups is normal. Thet have hiccups bcos they drank too fast..
At this age, they dont know how to control their speed of drinking milk so they just drink..
Try to blur them well, it will help...
