Have you seen the doctor on the rashes? Has it goes off already?
Dont scatch ya, will create more stretchmarks.
Few months ago I got rashes too, itchy till cannot "tahan", midnight went over to singapore general hospital to see doctor to take medicine to stop the rashes. My mum said is too "heaty" .
Btw, I think you can start to pack your bag ready (just in case)
I am printing the "hospital packing list" too.
That's right, because we are not professional, and also as a mummy, natural everything must put baby safety at 1st prority. So everything the gynae said must follow loh. Haz.
Issit c-sect they charge you more also??
My gynae alwiz ask me if can natural is best... never tell me to c-sect before..
Still itching all over... i tried to withheld my fingers but sometimes, really itchy... Cannot tahan. Wow, that means to say i have to tahan till i deliver?! gosh!!! really troubled with this.
So you are also Dr WK Tan's patient before?

share your experience with us after birth ... i think my baby should be about 3kg this week (36th) too. but see how. Gonna hear what the doc says. Mine still breech position but am trying out few exercises to help her turn... JIA YOU !!!
It feels so good to know you all delivering soon..
I gettin very xin ku already... Sit down also cannot breathe.. Sit or ly down also not comfortable already...
This is getting very terrible
I have not asked the doc yet. my next appt is this Sat morning.
But i just went to pharmacy to buy the Itchy Skin lotion. It is spreading . At first I thought its only tummy. Now, it spread to m thigh, back and this morning, hands too... Scary . I will ask the doc this sat (must survive the itch till Sat)... Sigh...
What did you do to clear the itch then? you took cooling remedy to ease the heatiness?
Haha, i am a KS mum. i already packed last weekend. Scare i may have early signs cos of the few contractions... Just in case. another 2-4 weeks more... (dont know to say i am excited or scared) - mixed feelings...
mayb be cos they can charge you more for c sec LOL
I start applying stretch mark cream since my 2nd month till now.
till now, the more stretch mark cream i apply now, the more itchy it gets.
And what is worst is, it spread last weekend (from tummy to other parts ofm my body ) i just changed to itch lotion.
yup, its like menses cramp . Braxton kicks, i think it mean these menses cramp like cramps... (but no harm one)
yup, will wait for the 3 signs before i start panicking... hehehe...
we all getting ready soon ... Oct MTBs...
Ya I am Dr WK Tan's patient too...have been talking to you in O & G link....under Dr WK Tan....
The Itch is unbearable, I remembered she refered me to a dermotologist, but I did not go, i just scratched until almost disfigured....and thank god baby came out during 38 weeks....
you should be due anytime soon too.....be resassured she is a great dr.
The stretch marks will be very visible only after you deliver.. But mine is so serious even when preggy i can see cos is red torn skin tissue
Ok i dont really have sleepless nites.. just feels bloated cant breathe properly no matter what position i m in ( sit or lie down ). I kind of cant bother to eat but no choice baby small size my dad keep reminding me eat for the baby sigh.. Eat very uncomfortable cannot breathe...
so, that snake powder works for you?
Wow, i did not think of it. I think i will go pop by the supermarket or pharmacy to get one bot to try then. really desperate to try anything to ease the itch . so itchy.. my whole tummy, hands, legs all filled with rashes now...
jia you . so this sun when i eat mooncake, i will think of you n your baby ... Mid Autumn Baby!!! Yeah!!! think mine also quite soon . mine is now about 3kg... hope the doc let me keep her till 38-40wks...
keep my fingers crossed...
Jia You, Blue!
haha, i remembered . was so nicely assured by you mums about Dr Tan... but she refered you to dermatologist, so it must be very bad .
funny , sometimes, i can dont feel itchy for 1-2hrs wo. but then when the itch come, can be non-stop ... so itchy that i cant stop scratching... me now 36wks . almost to my finishing line... its so long away... wow... i think 38 wks is just right... 40wks abit too long to wait...
very xin ku ... thought my itchiness is so bad enough. think yours lagi worse huh. bloated and cannot eat. ya, you have to eat more . your baby needs all the nutrients... does drinking tea or fruit juices help? to help digest the food faster?
hmmm mC today ... Doc say is womb expanding thats y like that so i have some medication to close the stomach from vomiting at least can eat abit but the bloat feelin cannot help
Seems like each of us have different problems.
I have piles on my butt. Went to see GP and she said it's common during pregnancy cos the tummy is pressing down, worst when carry heavy things or cough too hard (have been coughing last week). Thought the doctor can remove the piles for me, but she just "push" it in and give me pills to reduce the piles. saying see how after baby is born (maybe will goes off after delivery).
Lonerjas - Me too. having difficulty sleeping, everytime start my sleeping position in sitting posture, then slowly move down to lie down. Then in the middle of the night, wake up again to go toilet. Then restart the whole sleeping procedure again. Alamak.
blue_7231 - Jia You ya. Do share with us your thoughts after delivery ya. And rememeber we still got to catch up in Dec.
Madalene - Be extra careful since you are have the contractions feeling. Yours will be coming out soon. Jia You too. But still must eat more during these period cos baby is growing the fastest during the last few weeks.
Most of you can be due anytime now....do treasure and try to sleep as much now...once baby is out....not enough sleep....just like me...gave birth in May, never had a more than 3hrs sleep...every 3 hours sure to wake up...or else hourly... Thats why mummies are the greatest...!!
Hope everyone will have a smooth, safe and fast delivery......and also a painless delivery....
