I think you should be able to start exercising already. I started exercising about 1 month after my c-sect and it made me feel better and recover faster. I started slow though with slow walks then short speed walking before jogging and finally running. No marathons though. Flab around the tummy needs crunches to tone up. You only have 5 kg to get rid of? Sigh...I'm so envious....after my first one, I exercised for a year before shedding the 20+kg I put on.
