then i read again is $3K+.
sigh, i also wanna start saving now, last time cant save cos, no money to save, pay so little, plus more than 1/2 r for pin's expenses.. what to do?
think the next few years have to slog it out liaos.
settle our wedding n house then can officially save for ourselves~
Actually $3k+ is not a lot.. and the way she spends *sigh*... think no need to buy house.
& dont't forget.. inflation rate nowadays outstrips whatever savings or increment rate.. If you put the $$ in the bank, then you are actually losing $$ cos interest rate is so miserable.
Liddat I think Stonston's "friend" can kiss the dream of owning a house goodbye.
I agree with camom. Putting money in the bank is losing $$$
You top up your CPF even better. Interest is above what banks offer.
hungry! shld i go buy some stuffs to munch~~
anyone can tell me who are they in facebook, r they from mummysg?????
1) sylvia ng
2) clara lee
3) sachiko yen
To enjoy 4% interest rate, top up your CPF
I'm not sure how it works coz I have not't tried. This is what I read.
You can top up your Medisave and get tax relief. This is what my friend from MOM told me. But I've also not gotten around to doing it yet.
Slog out now better than old already still have to slog!
But your KW got earning potential, so no need to worry.
Plus you've already taken the first step to slogging: Further your studies!
Her husband is a very nice guy, so we feel very sad for him.
He always busy with work, then work so hard to earn $$$, kena spent away like nobody's business. So poor thing can!
But I heard from the rest that everytime after gathering (if I got go), she will be very pissed off and show black face.
Sometimes she will show black face by hiding herself in the car, then her husband no choice gotta go already. Spoil the mood only lorz.
Last time they keep trying Queenstown but try alot of times already cant get.
She still tell me "I dont want Punggol, so ulu. Queenstown better, so near Orchard."
Then try so many times, also no choice, then get Punggol.
I think when their house come, she sure get those very expensive ID to reno.
dont care her. hahaha. We already planned not to tell her where we bought our stuff from also (cos we all got very good deals).
BTW, I dont tink they got much savings from they way they are spending.
She ever asked me about my investment portfolio, but she does not seem to understand all the terminology I was using.

Morning everyone.......it's a rainy monday
More reading regarding topping up CPF up to Minimum Sum (MS)
And relief from income tax
CPF cash top-up relief
Actually that time her husband told my husband he wanted to further his studies, he managed to get a scholarship I think. But the wife was preggie, so he decided not to cos if he study, have to go overseas for a few years, he scared his wife cannot take care of baby alone. Plus he also worry about expenses.
Then now my husband also thinking of getting his degree at SIM (with me while I do my degree in Business Marketing), also dont wanna tell them. My husband say wait till study finish already then say. HAHAHAHA.

She already start getting herself in debt. Think her situation will worsen after she gets the house. No good cos will strain the couple's relationship before anything else. She really needs a hard knock to her head to wake her up.
She's also not doing her hubby a favour. Civil Service frowns very much on financial embarrassment, when he get financially embarrassed bcos of all these spendings, it will also affect his career very much. noticed I said "when" and not "if", I think it's a matter of time. Sigh... poor man.
