i boy 1 girl good lehh.. cos you buy 1 set boys' clothes can liaoo, girlgirl dee wear lil laura dee can liaoo at the same time got 1 birdy, then you can tempo close factory.. LOL!!!!!!!!
Sleeping arrangement quite tough!
Got a few options:
1. Maid sleep with your girl, twins sleep with you
2. Maid with your twins, your girl sleep alone
3. Maid, girl & twins all in 1 room
I personally will prefer option 1 or 2.
If I'm in that situation, I'll let 1 twin sleep with maid, another twin sleep with me. Then exchange and rotate every night. Cos when 1 baby cry, sometimes the other will be affected too. So if seperate them, then it'll be better. At least everyone won't be so tired out.
My colleague's twins are 4 months old. So cute!
She has mum & maid to help. Mum sleeps in 1 room with 1 twin, maid sleeps in the other room with the other twin. Then rotate the babies. She says this method very useful cos sometimes 1 twin will make noise the whole night, the other twin in the other room not affected at all, just sleep through. But when they are together, 1 cry, the other will cry too!

lala dearie, quick quick, ask pink dearie go your house sit on your bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha!!!!!
Wahahaha my twins come out ask them go jump on your bed ! If not, I let them sleep with you for the first few months on your bed!
Actually my ultimate goal is to have all 3 kids sleep in the same room, though it's not going to be easy, nor is it going to be with immediate effect.
For the first few months, I intend to have both twins sleep with us in the same room (easy for me to breastfeed them and set a routine). If I separate them, they will not disturb each other, but their presence will not be able to comfort each other either. I'm not sure how they can cope by being separated from each other, since they would be spending 10 months together in my womb. I know it's going to be very hard, but I do want them to sleep together as I believe it'll be easier for me to set routines and have them used to each other's disturbances. But now is just theory, in practical may be different story! Hahaha.
I dont't intend to have my kids sleep with the maid. Actually, I'd rather be tired waking up at night handling them, and let the maid have enough rest to deal with them in the daytime.
Most probably I will just let the maid to sleep in the study room, and give her a small storage space for her things.
By the way, there's no history of twins from my husband nor my side. We even tried to trace all the way back to our great-grandparents but no history of twins.
Maybe just happen by chance. 1 in 80!
Oh btw... any things I should look out for when hiring a maid? I dont't want to hire one end up dont't know how to handle my children. Worse is when I get those that I need to tell them what to do all the time!
***continue to rub rub rub rub PINKY HONEY DARLING's precious tummy***
**i'm sure your whole family will STARE at me***
My personal criteria when hiring maid:
2. At least 27 yo
3. Must be married and have kids, if single then no aged parents
4. Previously worked in Msia for big family (preferably Caucasian or Indian)
5. never worked in SG before
based on the above, I've managed to get good maids.
Btw, my colleague started off with 2 babies together during confinement, she couldn't take it. She's still breastfeeding but at night they bottle feed with ebm. Day time her boys sleep together, so bonding is still alright.
You must be open to the option if you can't handle.

pink dearie, you got the intention to put cctv? my cousin also stay at home mum mum with maid. but before she hire the maid, they alrdy install cctv, in case they leaving the maid alone with her son, or in case she anytime going out to wk.. =Dlala dearie, you might as well help deliver the babies for pink dearie, take our the gynae's job then you can be the 1st to carry liaooo.. hehehehehe....
lawla dear: you will be the only non-family member i allow to visit me and babies in hospital ok! special access pass for you!
stonston: yes i'm quite aware of how bad the situation is. Of course in my ideal situation, I'd like to do that. But I do have to remind myself that I must keep my options open. Thanks for your tips. I will keep them in mind.
apollo: Yah my husband already say wanna install CCTV in case I need to go out urgently and cannot bring my kids along.
I was thinking of going back to work, but I dont't think I'm willing to leave the 3 kids alone with the maid!
