That's why you will find it in 川贝枇杷膏 too.
On its own, 川贝 looks something like gingko nuts ... but taste definitely much more bitter.
If you dont mind the taste, some people use it to brew as tea as well ... drinking it regularly, your throat would become so super strong that it'll be tough to even get a cough.
As for allergy, I have almost never heard of any against 川贝 itself.
Could it have been some other ingredient inside the stuff he took?
As a control, does he have a reaction when he take 川贝枇杷膏 itself?
She'd be most happy to hear that ...Originally Posted by JacquiLau

Girl ... unless it's the Jap kind, cheesecakes dont need baking one.Originally Posted by lawla12
All that needs to be done is use my blender to crush up all the (oatmeal) biscuits to make the base ... then whip up the (philidelphia) cheese alongside the (mango or lemon) puree ... then place it in fridge to set, after pouring onto biscuit base.
Very easy one ... if you have done it yourself before, you'd think twice about paying so much for your next piece of cheesecake.
Anyways, it's tough for me to bring one or two to our outings ... becoz it has to be consumed pretty soon after it has left the fridge*.
Unless it's just a gathering ... & ideally, at my place. But let me go clear up my guestroom** first ... else, space for such a big party would be quite restricted.
* What they sell outside, they use quite a bit of gelatine to help it stay in shape ... but I dont think it's too healthy to eat so much gelatine, so I'd usually skip using them.
** Erm, guestroom has conveniently become the storeroom since Siggi's arrival ... that's why you see me posting in want to sell threads after clearing the stuffs out, bit by bit.
Ok, my own long day starts here ... a good game of golf beckons this afternoon. So I wun see you ladies until much later tonite ... dont miss me to much, ok? Muacks.
Morning to all mummies here.
