does the method of using a hardboiled egg to roll on the bump help? heard it reduces swelling.....
Yup, that's the one ... they sell more aquarium stuff than rodent stuff though. You been there?Originally Posted by lawla12
I still go there to buy my worms, fishes & frogs to feed my "snakehead" ... see pics.

Until I re-read, I almost wanted to ask how high your bed from the floor & if your floor was padded. Close shave ... in fact, too close for comfort!!Originally Posted by autumn82
Yes, it does ... but works only when the hard-boiled egg is still hot.Originally Posted by CanCanMum
You think my dear boy would allow for that?
According to the doctor, we could have applied ice right away ... but I told her I get serious head injury from football (was kicked in the head when playing keeper) also never had such a big swell, so was definitely not cool-headed enough to think about using ice.
This morning, we just applied zambuk ... & hoping for the best.
back from lunch, bad appetite today. doesn't feel to eating anything
JacquiLau: Am working from home, no food court food for me. Hahaha. Just that entering 3rd trimester is getting tougher, I am beginning to have insomnia and very bad appetite.
Cancanmum: can...but these few days my appetite is getting bad to worse. -_-"

The fact that you need to go IUI means your body is not normal ... this adverse reaction from taking Chinese herbs further shows that your body is different, compared to most other women.
Since you're in the midst of IUI treatment, I guess it would be wise to go seek a professional opinion from your gynae ... provided he's not against your consumption of Chinese herbs while undergoing his treatment.
However, be prepared that he will either point your spotting to one of your reproductive parts being "injured" or he has nothing much to talk about your spotting ...
From the limited experience I have, spotting is more an issue when you are pregnant becoz you dont want the source of the spotting to be related to the foetus or your womb. But since you are not pregnant (or at least you think so yourself), then there is no such worries.
On the other hand, I understand you wanted to wait for the IUI attempts to be fully over before you embark on traditional chinese medicine ... but I thought you could also go now, on the pretext of just finding out more about your own body & specifically why you can get this persistent spotting after consuming the Chinese herbs.
IMHO, you really dont even have to let the sinseh know of your IUI attempts ... or even your intention to trying to concieve. Just like going to a fortune-teller, you only know which one is really good when you dont tell them anything about yourself.
What's being served today?Originally Posted by JacquiLau

Anyways, your little one is a boy or a girl?
Decided on the name already?

I was so engrossed in what I was doing ... then, suddenly, I heard a "plop" sound ... the bolster had dropped to the floor ... turned out that my Siggi could do "leopard crawl" while on his back, instead of his tummy ... so, he actually crawled towards the side of the bed & his forward force was so great, his head moved my 2.75kg bolster!!
That's when we all realised that it's not safe to just place Siggi on the bed or the sofa ... this fella can crawl or roll, despite not even reaching 4 months old yet!!
I know it's hard to sleep at night, I have the same problem but just sleep when you can. You probably excited about the baby as well that will add on to your insomnia. What I did was that I will try some calming music like nature sound, whale song etc when I sleep. I always sleep on my side especially left because they said that left side is better as it help the blood to circulate. I sleep with 5 pillows when I am in my last trimester... 2 under my head, 1 under my feet and 1 for me to hug and 1 against my back...
As for appetite... I have no problem because I know what's coming after I give birth... confinement food!! Eat what you want now!!
back from lunch....
you all eat maaaaaaaaaaa?????
My little one is a boy... aiyo Mister look at my signature...
i tink, just let it be laaaaaaa......but " fan" lohhhhh...been wearing that tootpig panty liners for WEEKS liaoooooooooooo...super irritating~
