Hi Mums!

We are doing a research study under Newcastle University and we want to collect data from Singaporean children of 6-12 years old. It's alright if they do not take whole grains regularly, we just want real data.

We would make two visits to your place. The first visit would be about 45 minutes and the subsequent one would be 15 minutes.

We would collect the following data from your child:
1) One day food record

2) Height, weight, waist circumference, body fat %
3) Physical activity questionnaire

You and your child will receive individualised feedback on their health status based on the data collected. This will benefit them as it's good to inculcate healthy habits from a young age.

Feel free to reply to this email (SingGrain@ncl.ac.uk) or call us at 9056 0700 if you have further queries.

We would require either a parent or a guardian to be with us. If you are interested, please reply with a preferred timing. You can reply here as well.

Respondent burden is low so please consider your child’s participation.

We are looking forward to your participation.

Thank you!
