Hi mummies out there I was just wondering after having read some articles that it is tougher to lose the belly fat after having a c-sect as compared to having a natural birth. How many of you would agree with that?
yes... i agreed...
i agree too! lol
did you both go thru c-sect and vaginal birth?
mine is c-sec.
How do you all get rid of that belly fat? I went through NVB but till now has passed one month.. my fats is still here -_- how?
what is NVB? i did lost weight and was back to my pre-preg weight but the tummy is always there... now i go fatter , i look like 5mth preg...
Natural i mean.. my tummy look so ugly now
then maybe it's genetics and how much weight was gained during the pregnancy. just thought that c-sect harder to lose the tummy coz the tummy muscle is being cut through rather than natural birth where it is still intact
my cousin give birth 3 mths before me, hers is natural and i see that her tummy is smaller than mine. i feel that my tummy muscle are over stretch cuz my tummy was too big for my body frame, my belly buttom is still not back to it original size... so sad.
I disagree. The belly fat doesnt depend on mode of delivery.
For natural birth you can slim down easier coz you can bind/massage your tummy right after birth. You can move around more which means burn more calories.
For c-sect, you need to wait for 3 mths before you can fo any tummy massage. You also tend to move lesser compared to mommies who gave birth naturally.
I hardly lose weight for the first 2.5 mths. But after that my weight just went down very fast.
Just my 2 cents.
I had a csect on may, wore a belly band straight away after surgery. Got my flat tummy back within the first month. Agree that genetic could play a role in losing weight.
