wah.. that's good, no feeling of mild contractions.. i feel so heavy now, and like very tight at the lower tummy, can feel the weight already.. very uncomfortable...

Oh ya I will be donating cord blood instead of keeping hubby & I believe that by donating baby"s cord blood it's like doing goodwill for baby!
In the olden days, there are no such things as keeping of cord blood. Life is fated! We dont't want keep our baby"s cord blood n end up if one day when we really need it we will be told that it's not curable or stuff!
We have faith in our child. We strongly believe in doing goodwill for baby once he is born.. This goodwill will help him to grow healthy in his life than we keep in the commercial bank.. Which is earning our $$ every year.
Its the same concept like buying insurance.. you buy but when you need to claim.. your agent will be telling you "oh this and that we dont't covered" at all! By then everything will be gone waste !
* donating baby cord blood will be used straight to use for people that really need most at this moment!
this is our personal views!
Now easier to manage for me.. When I m hungry sometimes I will tell baby.. your mummy is lazy pls let me sleep morning then we eat breakfast ... Surprisingly ... It's works .. I can tahan till morning without any disturbance... Lol
Dear All Mummies,
Happy Valentines Day to all. . .
Wishing all be happy on this day of hearts Day. . .
Dinner with hubby and love ones. . .
Praying for all mummies to have a safe and smooth delivery. . .
God bless us all
also, in the case when a baby really needs treatment, 1 baby's cord blood might not even be enough for the treatment..
Ya this is exactly what my hubby & I thought also !! Goodwill .. Well blessing !! If we dont't need it .. We dont't save it ! Even if we need it.. We also dont't know if it really helps when we really need it .. So must well just donate to those who currently needs it !!
My little boy consider quite okie.. when we go out .. he will not move at all very quiet but once we reach home.. he will start to kick & move alot.
We encourage our baby when he is "a good boy"... hehe ... it's amazing to feel the kind of understand between baby & us. I can't imagine that this is really happening... not dreaming...
For stretching.. it's managable for me also.. I realised baby will stretch when I am feeling hot. Then I will rub my tummy & tell baby ..."dont't stretch..sleep properly... mummy is very uncomfortable." Surprisingly... after awhile my tummy will go soft...
Oh you need to check if your hospital is one of the participating hospital... Hmm .. you delivering at Geneagles right? I think it's one of the hospital.
You need to inform your gynae that you will be donating your baby's cord blood.
check out for more info on this website: Singapore Cord Blood Bank
you need to call SCBB to let them know that you r donating.. so after 32 wks they will meet you up & ask you to sign a form & some health questionaire.
Then.. during your day of delivery you need to sign a form then your gynae can draw the cord blood. After that... this will be put into the cord blood donation at your hospital then someone from SCBB with come n collect the donation.
Singapore Cord Blood Bank
We donated when I gave birth to my #1 and we are donating again. The scbb will send people down to speak to you and conduct interview to clear your medical history. Your obgyn will do the blood taking and collection of cord blood when you deliver. Very simple process. You won't even notice it happening. Except blood taking, they need to take extra samples from you just so that they can profile your blood type. They will follow up 1mth if i didnt remember wrongly after you deliver via phone call to make sure everyone is healthy. Then your cord blood will be banked for other's use.
We believe banking cord blood is like buying insurance. To us, banking in private cord blood bank is like buying insurance for only blood disorders. We do not have such medical history so we figured we will spend money on buying more general insurance for our child and let people who really need it use the cord blood. If we really need it we can also use cord blood from the bank.
always paranoid at the back of my mind.
Thanks Dilys and mummysketches.
