Hmm...and the number of posts I made went all the way down, so I think the posts were really permanently deleted. So strange!!
woah! we have 10 pages of thread gone!
Same here! By the way, what were we chatting about? Guess we gotta start re-chatting all over again! Anyway, happy mother's day to all of us here!!!
Ya happy mother's day to all of us!!! Must make sure our hubbies celebrate or buy something for us!! haha!!
Wishing everyone a Happy Mother's Day..
I was having my weekly prenatal class yesterday and the teacher showed us a video of those ladies giving birth; water birth, natural birth and C-sect births. She wanted us to be mentally prepared. I saw the real thing! It was amazing how these women can withstand the pain without any help!
Hi ladies, can I check if any of you experiencing discomfort walking below the tummy pelvic to thigh area? I'm at wk 27 n these few days walking seems to get more cumbersome n I can feel aches army lower back n upper thigh... Wondering if this is common as I heard baby gets bigger naturally more diff to walk
I am gonna do water birth and the doc told me that they wont give me the "bullet" before I deliver... cos if they do, I might contaminated the water if I pooped accidentally... so they want to keep the pooped "solid" so that they can just scooped it out... hahaha.. it sounds disgusting so they advised me to poop naturally before pushing if possible...
(normally you will be given the bullet so that you can clear your bowels before the pushing start so that you dont pooped while pushing)..
At various times throughout your pregnancy, your expanding uterus might put pressure on the sciatic nerve in the lower part of your spine, which causes lower back pain during pregnancy (which often travels throughout the body). When the baby starts to shift into the proper birth position in the third trimester, it can rest directly on the nerve, causing a major pain in the butt (and back, and legs).
But when I walked too fast, I will get cramp below my tummy... so far I dont get any pains in my buttocks or legs...
but since yesterday I am starting to get back pain when I sit too long...
Is water birth recognised in sg?
Yes it is now..
Has been in spore for 3-4 years..
Oh ya! I saw the water birth video. The lady was damn cool during the process, as in she just focus on her breathing and the baby just naturally come out smoothly. I too saw a lady (can't remember which birthing technique) giving birth together with the poop and yes, it was all natural.
Am I spoiling things here by letting you girls know a bit about my class since most of you will be attending the prenatal class soon? My hubby was saying I shouldn't spoil the mood of yours... But the class was all fun and fruitful!
Except that my back also felt "sng" just like the other girls here... Ladies, any idea what's the best way to relieve the "sng-ness"?? I just let it be...
Shit! It's been 3 days after my class and the visuals of the birthing techniques are vividly embedded in my mind. Haha!!! Not scary, but I just find it amazing! I really really hope I can give birth to my baby naturally. I dont't want C sect cos I dont't want any scars on me!!! I've been insisting and telling my gynae I want natural birth.
I'm so happy today, as my gynae saw my baby during the normal scan today and she turned to the correct position! Previously during my last visit, my gynae said she's breeched. Lucky me!!!
Whats going on with Mummysg?? Missing threads and albums gone, and my ad gone, and my info all gone?? WTH?
