Hey ladies, does anyone know of someone who would like to be a nanny? Do you know a stay at home mum or yourself, to take care of my baby 2mths after I go back to work? I will be on 2mths maternity leave only so probably by Nov I need someone to look after for me. I can pay only $500 from Mon-Fri 8.00am to 6.00pm. I live in the central-west district, Commonwealth.
You ladies are gaining so beautifully nice. I've gained 13+ kg at week 26 now and I still thought I was gaining normally. My gynae told me he wants to make me gain until 60-65kg! I'm small framed. Anyway, so long baby is growing steadily healthy, I dont't mind the extra kg.
I wouldn't like infant care too, but I can't think of any other ways of taking care of my baby when I'm back to work next year (I'm fully utilizing the 4 months at one go). I also can't bear to put my baby with the maid after hearing all the stories, I'll never know what'll happen and baby can't talk yet. If getting a nanny, it's not going to be cheap either right? Is the market rate for nannies at $500 only? I always thought it's over a thousand dollars. I hope my granny can stay over my place and help me keep a lookout on the maid. If this happens, I'll save a lot on the nanny and infant care issues. So most are opting for nannies to look after when you all go back to work? I mean for those who dont't have any alternatives besides the options of having a nanny, maid and infant care.
I dont't have the exact address to the baby clothing at Waterloo street but it's easy to find. It's located at the block opposite the Waterloo street famous temple, at the corner.
Means when you stand facing the HDB block from the temple, walk towards your left (towards the hawker centre). The shop is tucked at the far left, back corner. It's a shop below the block, one and only shop that sells baby clothing.
Newbie here. I am now 25 weeks 2 days pregnant with a baby boy. This will be my second baby. Anybody here experiencing PUPPP aka pregnancy rash? It bothers me so much, I need some pointers to relieve the itch
The rashes started on the belly, then spread out everywhere. Breasts, thigh, buttock, hands, feet...
I saw my gynae and she gave me medicines. I try not to take anything oral. She also gave me steroid cream and calamine lotion. Heard that steroid cream is not good for the baby so I try not to use it very often. So I am still scratching like now...
I get hungry very easily too... I have so many cookies in my office and I'll start to munch them every 2-3 hours! By the way, have you all given names to your baby girl? I have shortlisted a few though.... Let's share?
Actually, I'm unable to find a girl's name that I like.... cos I want it to start with C and I dont't want it to be so difficult to pronounce. So many mummies are selecting names which I find difficulty in the pronunciation. Anyway, when we name our babies... there will sure bound to have many comments.
Oh, I should ask what are the names you have chosen for your babies? Applies to baby boys too! hehehe! Cos earlier, I was only asking about baby girls... hee!
