Is norm to "chuan" as we have increased in blood volume, dont worry about that. you can try walking.. Then increase your speed.. But start with slow and mild pace if you r not very frequent with exercise. Both walking and swimming are good as you can do it alone, no need guidance, but you have to monitor your body. Stop immediately if you feel uncomfy, strain or heartbeat increase..
If you wanna have the walk, check out the haze also.. I switch to swimming if the weather is bad or hazy.. At least gotta the shelter swimming pool..
Any of you having constipation problem? I find that my tummy is getting bigger and bigger.. Especially during the weekends, think is the consumption of food is too high.. And not able to pass out from body.. But whenever I am successful in "doing the job", my tummy will shrink back.. Any remedy? I tried eating seaweed, it works initially, but now like not working already..
Btw, any of you taking "additional" supplements other than those prescript by the gynae? I have my friend recommending me to take cactus extract from one of the MLM.. She drank in her pregnancy, and her baby is very alert and strong from birth time.. I am considering if I should take too..
The cactus supplement, better to bring a sample bottle (borrow from friend?) to your gynae to ask if the contents are ok.
hihi mummies... i like to join this thread too... my eed is on 28 feb and is gg to Thomson Medical Center for delivery.....
i'm now at 17 weeks... waiting to feel more and more of the movements of my little one.. so excited.... have been telling my little one to do some exercise for me... haha...
As for constipation, try taking more fibrous foods. Then exercise a little before going to poo as that can help loosen the bowels. And relax when going to toilet!
Clap & Athes, i'm still waiting for mine to move .... i'm in the mist of 19weeks but have not't felt it yet.... so anxious loh... Is it because mine is girl so not so active yet??
i'm also taking only 1 multi-vitamin + 1 folic acid per day, no other supplements. according to my gynae, my daily pills are sufficient. the 1 big tablet is already so big, i think i'll gag from eating too many tablets.
i can also feel my baby's movements now (at 20.5 weeks), especially when my hubby sings to him, immediately after, my baby will have multiple kicks.. i wonder is it from song enjoyment or what???? haha.. i shall start monitoring the timings of my baby's movements right away..
i have started taking photos of my increasingly bulging tummy. keeping a log of the photos and weeks in the baby apps in my iphone..
are you mummies doing that too?
chjean, i'm also taking the same as you + additional fish oil supplement (this is good for the baby's brain development). It is not compulsory to eat but recommended by my gyne to take. Are the rest of you gals taking as well?
I just started taking my tummy too... just for fun & see the difference as it grows each week. heehee...
Hi Ladies, have you all done your detail scan at 20 weeks? my gynae schedule me to do at 22nd week, and that's 2 more weeks. I can't wait ..
by the way, any of you mommies keen on Elancyl Stretchmark Prevention Cream? I have a new tube (150ml, expiry dated Jan2015). Sis bought the wrong kind for me, cos I actually prefer Mustela. Letting go at $30. Retail price is $45. If keen, let me know yeah?
im kind of worried though, cos my new place was under reno recently, and i've no choice but to pop by occassionally to monitor the progress... I've asked the gynae and he assured me those are absolutely old wives tales.... but being chinese, we can't help but worry.
I really hope baby will be looking as fine as his kor kor is ..
just curious, why did you have to do the amnio test?
