Had my anatomy scan done today. GIRL!!
This is a discussion on EDD Feb 2012 within the Year 2012 Mummy forum, part of the Mummy Meeting Place category; Hi Jean, I have that too.. Is like the hips bone expanding.. Arr... But will be fine after sitting down ...
Had my anatomy scan done today. GIRL!!
I experienced bad calf muscle cramp last night during my sleep & it happen for 3 times. But after massage, it slowly ease the pain away. If any mummies also encounter this, some stretching exercise on your toes, legs before sleep is highly recommended. Also stay hydrated.
Did you use the hip shrink belt? I saw it's selling at many places.. My friend said it helps to shrink abit, but only workable within the two months period after birth, coz the body is releasing the hormone "relaxin" or something..
Sighs.. just hope it helps.. Else my hips will be so wide..
I had to use a tummy band the hospital physio gave me because my tummy muscles separated during pregnancy. Supposed to do excerises to push them back together again but never did. That reminds me, be careful when you get off the bed or couch so you won't pull your stomach muscles. Get up in a way that you are not doing a sit-up
you can try prune juice, it works very well!
hi osaka, i read that it is better to sleep on the side than the back as it will restrict the blood flow... you can try to put a pillow on the back and one between your legs to see if it helps... for myself, i had experienced backache no matter what position i slpt in... until now, i have been shifting positions every night from right to back to left... somehow the backache went away...
hi jinglebell, which prenatal yoga do you plan to sign up for? i am interested to do but dont know any suitable place to go... i am looking for somewhere around city area... maybe we can all sign up tog... i think its better to be doing some form of exercise... i have stopped exercising ever since i knew i was pregnant... body is kinda getting stiff...
I am looking for partners to go for yoga too. But do you have any classes to recommend? I did a search and found Mother & Child and True Yoga. Are feedback on them?
Just had my detailed scan, it's a GIRL!
Ya, at the detailed scan, press quite hard, a little uncomfortable (just like other moms reported!)
I can feel my girl moving everyday now, and the tummy even moves with harder kicks! What joy!!!
Yep the scan sure is uncomfortable. Especially with a full bladder... and with a Braxton Hicks contraction urgh...
Does anyone else get Braxton Hicks contractions yet? I had them very often with my first pregnancy since week 10 but this time around not so much...or maybe this time I dont't feel it so much. This time it is usually at the bottom of my tummy so it makes me feel like pooing.
Hi MTB, for those of you who are still traveling around a lot on public transport do find a seat even if you are one stop away. I was on my way home today and I thot it's only a few stops away so I didn't get a seat. Who know, when I was just one stop away, the bus did an emergency brake. Luckily I was holding tight to the railing and my husband was besides me so I just fell backward on him. Was grateful nothing happen to the baby as I can feel his kick... Thank god.. But another lady passenger was thrown to the floor. So all mummies, do be careful and always get a seat.
Sorry for missing for a while... Still deciding between Mother & Child and Inspire Mum & Child. Mother & Child located at Tanglin Mall and the other one is at Tanjung Bagar. Most likely will sign up for the Mother & Child, cos seems like their schedule is more flexible. They have a few days for the prenatal class and can make up if you miss one of the lessons. Am keen on aqua exercise too, but apart from the one organised by KK hospital, any idea where can I find such classes? thanks.
Jenhuei, do you know when do we need to book the hospital room for delivery at Gleneagles? Have you decided where you wanna go for delivery?
