Just like my family ... 5 of us girls luckily take over good genes from our mum ...we are very fair & bless with good skin.
Drink skimmed milk just like that you dont't boiled your milk all the protein gone after boiling !!!
Great that you are brave for #1 but why not #2. oh btw how old r you ?? you dont't have Oscar for #1?? Maybe that time still dont't have .. Usually I heard those who r very young got very low risk in down sydrome.. But personally I think it's doesnt have link with age... It's all about genetic of the both.. Hubby & mummy!
For me I play safe I took Oscar even thou I m just 27. Haha what so Pai say about male gynae hehe .. Female gynae scarier I think ... If they can't handle maybe they will ask you to go for c-section. They are rough & fierce!! Haha I heard from some of my friends ... Female gynae will scold you sometimes .. Saying that giving birth is so easy why make so much noise.
My gynae is very nice he always ensure me... I told him that I m going for natural without epidural I need encouragement & support ! What he said was.. dont't worry I will help you along !! sweet right !!
dont't listen too much ... Different people different negative effect from c section! Even you got a pro natural gynae .. What if during delivery ...due to unforeseen situation ... you still need a c-section... Like baby breech, baby Low heartbeat etc!
So be positive !!
Personally I think you should get a gynae who did very good stitching then a pro natural gynae ! For c-section, the pain is there if the stitches were not done properly & more about aftercare ! For why I chooses this gynae of mine is that.. He did a very good job in stitching for my friend! just in case .. I need c-section .. At least I have no worries! Wherther you will delivery baby naturally or c-section is really between you & baby!! Not about how pro the gynae is ! If baby head not down ..is impossible you can go for natural !
From what I heard from friends ..female gynae are not really good at stitching ... Hehe... They will anyhow stitch. For male gynae so far they are the ones who are gentle, good & fast !!
Anyway hope fully all goes well. Anyway you pretty confident for a first time mum. its a totally new experience. even though im 2nd time mum im actually quite stress to go thru the baby routine again those night time feeding time, lesser sleep nowadays. anyway babies is quite easy to look after but after certain age quite a challenge.for now my new challenge is to get my daughter knows that she will be an elder sis. as she is a very jealous party whenever im with other children.
anyway are you working? or a stay home mum?
i m consider a stay home MTB. Thank you !! I am a very positive person .. I believe it sharing my positive vibes rather than absorbing negatives things. That's why I m quite confident !! Always remember whatever we do in life... There are bound to be stress & of cos fear. But why not find a solution to your problem than to worry about it ??
so how about you r you a stay home mum ?? For Oscar .. It's really up to your comfort wherther to take the test or not ?
Im a working mother, been planning to be a stay home mum but still can leave the comfort of having my own money rather than depending on my husband. Moreover now i have a maid to look after household chores so im a bit used the life of working. But it doesnt matter whether you are a stay home mum or working mum, when you a mother you will always be a mother. I learn it just recently, when my maid goes back for home leave. I was worried that my daughter will be too attached to her & i will face difficulties but luckily my daughter was so comfortable with me she didnt even look for my maid. its just that i was pregnant and having a bad MS which make me extra tired. Anyway, where you staying??
I am staying at Pun Gol dont't worry too much ..do whatever you can ! do whatever you feel comfortable !! have you fixed an appointment to visit your gynae... I am so worried about you !!! treasure yourself and your little one inside okie !! Quick quick be brave & go visit your gynae !! By the time you visit your gynae .. I think you will be know the gender !

I have seen both male and female gynae before - I also find that male gynae is more gentle so I'll definitely stick to him when I go back. He's also good at stitching in case the need arises.
dont't know why but just now when I was making bento for my husband, I felt like fainting then when I laid down on sofa I felt like puking. I thought it was cos I have not't had breakfast so I quickly grabbed something to eat. Now having some warm milk. Still not feeling well. I've not felt like feinting before in this pregnancy ...
Alamak !! Why so difficult to make some time down the gynae ASAP?? Why think so much?? you r still running away from facing the reality! Work is important ... Yes so as your little one... So dont't just make your mind on a gynae call & fixed an appt? Instead of keep saying trying... Ask charges about other gynae... & maybe you go back to your old gynae...
As a mummy.. I think you should make decision fast to protect your little one inside... Especially you got issue like PCOS!
Be brave ok!! Positive !!!
Hello mummies, you may wish to check out heytheremomma for more tips!
I'm so excited to be going to the doc again tomorrow, can hear baby again! dont't do scan all the time here.. But it was snowing the whole of today and tomorrow will be the coldest day of the week. Quite sian thinking of the commute to the clinic. Wish I were back in Sg!
Wa , had an unexpected cervix exam at the clinic just now - so painful! Last time when ths same resident did my PAP smear, it was also very painful! Then she told me to come back for another cervix exam in two weeks *faint* cos I had LEEP done last year. Good to check but somehow it hurts like mad! I want my Sg gynae
