[QUOTE=rellako;615564]hello, im in my 16th week. will be going for my amnio next week. hope everything will turn out fine! gon' opt for the express result so can let this heavy stone down.[/QUOTE
dont't worry everything will be fine! Positive!!! By the time your result is out you will know the baby gender !!
i found Thomson Medical Center nuse uncaring and quite rude. kinda rough with my newborn too. i was about to give birth and couldnt wait any longer, instead of encouraging me.. they shut my legs and ask me why so fast... (like as if i know!)
when being moved back to the ward, the nurse wasnt patient in teaching me bf. i was a first time mummy then and felt so much pressure on bf. ended up, they gave my baby formula. still quite a number of incident which i cant rmb, my boy is born in 2008, very long . haha.. my mum even quarrel with the nurse. hahaha. request for a warm milo, not only it came late, but cold. then again, this is my personal experience, may be an one off thing. sometimes, sorta things depends on luck.
the reason i chose Mt A this time round is because of their highly raved nurses and quality service. hows their food?
Omg.. Nurse shut your legs? Why cant you just leave it open does that disturb them?? They are horrible !! If I were you I will scold the nurse myself! you pay for the stay so they shouldn't be treated you this way! I heard that from alot of my friends also about bad services at thomson.
Oh mount a, they will provide you with a breastfeeding officer to help you with after birth. They also do house call to teach you . I heard that confinement food are very nice oh .. you will be given a baby bathe tub that it's used for your baby"s 1st bathe after delivery.
that's very nice.. Cos" they dont't believe in bathing every baby in the same tub .. Hygiene purpose also!
The rooms are nice & cosy I like.
sounds great! 23 april not my birthday, its my son birthday hehe..
those mid-wives are phillipines so their accent are really strong and i dont really understand them well. being a first time mummy, i was so blur and afraid, i thought whatever the professionals are doing are right. tsktsk...trust them too much that time.
guess im right on Mt A this time. Now, praying hard for my amnio, only till then i will be able to enjoy the rest of my pregnancy.
Oh those Philippines .. If I were you I will ask them to get out of the room & ask them to go back to phillipines! Haha..
you must trust yourself I feel. I never believe anyone in the room except myself & my gynae! I know what is best for my baby & gynae knows the best to help me. Those nurse are just "extras".
I dont't think some of them even give birth before so how can they help you! They will never freaking understand. I got a friend telling me that during her delivery.. She was in great pain moaning groaning the nurse keep coming to her n ask her if she need epidural.. The nurse was told already dont't want epidural.
The 3rd time the nurse ask.. She scream at the nurse "you dont't understand English is it.. I say dont want epidural.. Shut your fucking mouth & get out of my sight.
Haha... I really want to laugh went my friend told me.. I can't imagine she scolded the nurse cos" never she will scream like that... For a demure & gentle lady ... Haha
I think if it's me I will throw whatever it's available around me at her face.
This time you got experience... dont't let anyone get your way !! When My mum give birth to my youngest sister.. The nurse also shut my mother"s leg. My mum told nurse that she can feel that baby head is coming out already.. Nurse ignore..despite what my mum said. But my mum insist opening her legs!! Haha my mum very powerful she is in pain still can scold the nurse .. She said before this I given birth to 4 girls already this is my #5. you look simply too young I think you have not't got pregnant before right? The nurse cannot tahan she broke down n cry.
Lucky my dad was around he ran out to look for the senior nurse! Guess what baby came out even before the gynae came.. When the gynae came in.. His face all turn blacked n end up the inexperience nurse got scolded by the gynae. This was @ mount elizabeth hospital!
That's why .. I believed in a reasonable charge n excellent service in hospital stay its important !!
hello Dilys, just went to chinese medical hall and check out the price for cordyceps and bird nest. they intro me long ya yan. heard that cordyceps have china n korea grade? china is natural while korea is manually planted. any advice on this? also, i came to realize that cordyceps is really good for pregnancy and overall health wellbeing. but how does it taste like ? thanks!!
Long ya yan is Indonesia premium bird nest, they have in red & white colour so buy the white one! For cordyceps get the china ones. They are natural.. china grade are much expensive than the korea ones.Hmm you cooked with black chicken... the taste is quite tasteless.. if you dare you can eat the cordycep while drinking the soup! After cooking it will be soft... Hmm I dare not bite it .. Cos it looks like a black dried worm so I swallow two pcs Everytime I drink the soup!
I tell you it's very good. Haha your tummy will be super warm .. My baby will be jump alot inside haha..
I felt baby movement at 18wk5d.. At first I thought I was dreaming but it's true.. I ask baby is that you?? If you move.. Pls move again.. Mummy love you!! Then baby move again! That very nite .. Hubby came back.... My little boy move even more when daddy is talking him!
my little one reacts alot when mention "daddy" and dancing music.
Starting from 12wks, my hubby increase he talking everyday to 1hr to baby!
Now I m 24wk6d.. Have started to monitor baby"s movement regular everyday myself since day 1 when I felt his movement. my baby is a very active one. I already know his sleeping pattern so I am not surprise when days he is moving very little.
Both my hubby & I believe in early training. you start monitoring & keep track of the movement.. It's easier for you to count the kicks per days @ 28wks.
hi all mummies,
when you prepare to get marry, the cakes for your relatives.. where do you all order from?
pls help, i got no ideal at all..
this is my first child.. actually quite lost on what to do.. baby can only hear from 5 months onwards right?
is baby's kicking like a muscle twitch or bubbles in the tummy? haha...
I felt my baby's first movement at 17 weeks 3 days I managed to grab Hubby 's hand and he was able to feel it in time too. He was amazed and we were really excited.it feels like light vibration, very faint kicking (like cycling motion) at the very low position of abdomen. This is our first child and we didnt expect to feel the kicking so soon. Most of my preggie friends only felt it after 20+ weeks. Since 2nd trimester started, we have been talking, reading and singing to baby everynight too.
