my collg got blood in stool also last time, sometime is due to the food we eat is too heaty. drink more water n take more veg n fruit!
iron pill can be the cause also! she got nose bleeding also! think is best check w/ your gynae.

Still I think grapefruit works the best of all of fruits in preventing constipation. I have been taking it since I got pregg. Imagine I having been eating 2 whole weeks of curry fish head and everyday of iron pills. No issue at all with constipation! Prune juice is also ok but not that effective!
i am so getting that grapefruit. prune juice works for me tho but now like cannot even look at it..
pls do not force your poo poo. as i heard it might push the baby downwards. so what i do is, whenever i feel like gg, i will squad n the feeling will come on its own but this take like a couple of minutes tho.
another thing that is bothering me is my sleep.. i know sleeping on the left side is gg for the blood circulation to the baby but its straining my shoulders. every night i will try to sleep on my side but it seems to get more n more uncomfortable night after night. in the end i end up sleeping face up and that too is not so good from what i've read. cz it will strain the backbone or something. which is true cz whenever i lay on my back, face up, i feel pressure on my lower abdomen which is really uncomfy and at times i wake up in the morning w a slight lower abd cramp and headaches thru out the day due to the un-peaceful nights
n so i was thinking to buy the pregnancy/maternity pillow. have you gals ever tried that particular pillow? does it really helps you gals to sleep better?
maybe diff condition ! i got not problem on poopoo also. maybe i drink alot of water, fruit n veg. i still take spicy n fried food, but not always of cos.
i got take iron also plus vitamin C & B cos i get tired easy due to some health problem i have, is recommend by doc. he just say more water when take iron n vitamin B.
have to try diff method . some may work, some dont.
if really cant after watever food or method yourself, the best is see gynea. dont force .
for sleeping, i sleep on my left. i try put a very thin pillow beside tummy to lift it up abit then bloster inbtw legs, if bloster too short for you. add on a pillow at the end of both legs. put a pillow or bloster near to back. try talk to baby also, ask baby to sleep higher, so dont need to wake up inbtw sleep to pee. it work for me. i been waking up at least twice per nite last time. my collg say try talk to baby before sleep, and it work! lol
try not to sleep on back, cos our backbone tend to curve during preggy. i try put the thin pillow below back if i sleep face up when shoulder pain.
whenever i wake up bump seem to be very hard n cramp so i sayang a few min.
for pregnancy/maternity pillow, very ex lei. i just replace w/ alot of pillows but will take up alot of space in bed. poor hubby left little area.
You shouldn't be reading too much. Sleeping position are different among all mummies. there is no right or wrong as long as you are comfortable. you should constantly shift to the position that you are comfortable with the supporting of lots of pillows.
Basically I think pregnancy pillow is a waste of $. It's still a supporting pillow nothing special. For me, I always support my buttock 1 pillows each side,2 pillows to lift up your both legs, a pillow or bolster for you to hug.. So at least your tummy will be sleeping on the bolster.
When you are hugging the bloster, try to lean your whole body towards it.. So all your body weight will be on your bolster instead of your back & shoulder.
If you encounter, low abdomen uncomfort.. That shows that your baby is not comfortable at all. Getting up from bed the right way also helps having all this problem. Hug your bolster & slowly move your body.. To your comfortable position then with the support of bolster you should be able to get up without any aching.
Try it !
Wonder if there is prob w me, already week 16, still puling non stop, at least 7,8 times a day. After each vomitting will feel weak n wanna sleep... N i cant drink plain water. Should I Ask the gynae to do something, I scare will affect the baby, can't keep things down.
Milo w biscuit, for now I'm having milo with whole meal bread but same thing will puke, but I told myself eat n puke every meal better than no eat n puke gastric juice, at least body can absorb a little, but it's torturous. I hope it will really end at week 20, but I'm feeling it's getting worst instead of better ;(
Are you having this vomiting since the 1st trimester till now? If that is so. My advice for you its please inform your gynae immediately. You feel dehydrated already .. so the 1st thing you should do is informed your gynae.. Not here to ask mummies here if you should ask your gynae.
Seriously, we mummies here can only give you advice but you have to react fast to your own mother instinct.
If you told your gynae during 1st trimester that you got very frequent vomiting , you will be given a medicine called maxolon to control the vomiting. Dehyration is very serious . If you are examine & found that you r dehydrating... Gynae will admit you in hospital to be put on drips and jabs. There will be low level amniotic fluid if you are not well hydrated. Of cos amniotic fluid is not the amount of water you drink.
Amniotic fluid is made up of your baby"s urine.
If you have not taken enough water, baby will not have enough intake of water so baby won't pass urine at all. It will affect the development of baby lungs, as alot of water intake helps baby to urine & release toxic from him/her body. It's just like adults.
All these complications.. will be known in your 20wk during your detail scan wherther baby"s lungs are working well or not. So please waste no time.. Informed your gynae.
You should take dry biscuits instead of bread. Dry biscuits absorb all your gastric acid. dont't mixed food and water together. Example: after taking your biscuits wait for half an hour then drink water. By mixing food & water increase gastric acid.
You find that water is the main problem. Actually it's your mind telling you to reject water. So having a positive mind is very important also.. If you are always thinking that you will vomited .. Everytime after drinking water you will vomit. Tell yourself baby is a gift.. I should not think about wherther I like it or not .. Cos of the baby .. Force yourself to drink plenty of water. Once your body adapt to it.. It will be fine.
Pregnancy are not easy so endure..all these worst time will pass by. You can try drinking fruit juice. You got to find a solution to get rid of your vomiting.
During my 1st trimester, within 2 days I found my solution to prevent my nausea. I sip coke & even the smell of coke make me stop puking. Avoid smell of oily area, fishy area.. Etc.
Usually mummies vomiting will be stop by 12wks (2nd trimester)
Bad will last till 20wks.
Worst will last all the way till delivery.
Jia you !!
Yes I've been vomitting since first trimester, just that it got worst lately. N I've got bad headache everyday too!
I've told the gynae about my vomitting, but she said that since I'm gaining weight already, it should b fine. I've tried few pills to stop the vomitting since but non help except for zofran that was prescribed by the gynae n cuz its expensive ( £8 per pill) the gynae only gave me 8 pills, n it didn't last me long too. N so on days when I never take it, vomitting will b bad. I didn't want to take these pills daily cux I feel that it is not good for baby, plus it's ex of cause. Now that I hear all these from you I think it's better to just stick on to it, maybe I'll just head down to the gynae n ask her for more. I'm not fainting yet or anything similar, so I think she look at me n feel that I should b ok since I have gained 2 kg till now, but I'm worried for the baby. I'm not sure by telling her I feel dehydrated so I want a drip will work?

Like what the other mummy just said, better go to see your gynae and tell her your concern. Is not good our baby cos they will not taking any nutrients from us if we keep on vomiting and not eating. Take care gal.
i also vomit alot during 1st trim when drink water. just dont take too much at one time. try to sip abit onli, gynae tell to take take some H-two-O if feel dehydrated. i take 6 small meals, snack alot of fruit n veg which will give you water also. so far i gain only 1kg, but lose 3kg during 1st trim.
as long baby is growing, dont worry too much, not good for baby also!
go see your gynea for more helps. he will know what best for you!
If you are gaining weight.. I think should be fine. Since your gynae didn't mention that you need to admit to hospital for drip that means you are still doing well. So the problem it's your mentality towards water.. The sight & taste of water makes you puke. So you got to get your mindset right so I think you won't have a problem. Try taking sip of coke maybe see if it helps.
Too much vomiting during your late trimester is not good.. It create stress to your baby. Take fruit juice.. Instead of water if you really dont't like water. The vomiting pills given by gynae should be safe.. But of cos really how strong your mind is. Can you endure for the sake for your baby.
During 1st trimester I was given some vomiting pills to standby but how terrible I feel I refrain myself from popping that. Now in my 2nd trimester, I was having flu ,cough, sore thoart once for 1wk, I refused to take any medicine.. I drown myself with 2 liters of plain water & alot of fruits everyday for 1 wk I recovered.. I had chicken soup with corydeps my cough gone just in 2 days.
Take care of yourself. Try taking alot of fruits.., fruit juice & soupy stuff.
Positive mind ! Jia you !!
Mummies, you gals r so helpful! Appreciate all the replies....
Ya not that I dont't like water, I enjoy water n I really hope I can drink,
Eveeytime I drink a cup I start puking, same for some juices, but I try to.
Actually I dont't want to drink anything except water cuz of the sugar, I love coke but scare of the caffeine. But cuz of my condition I'm now trying w diff liquids n I feel bad for the baby ;(
Yes I'll try to b positive n eat well
If you can take coke.. Try sipping some when you feel like vomitting & during your meals. I have been sipping coke during my whole 1st trimester. Of cos sipping only not too much .. Everything in moderation. do what is best for you.
Now 2nd trimester, once awhile I will pamper my darling son with some coke.. Lol.. He loves it.. After drinking he will start to do his breakdance..
Too much vomiting stress your baby during 2nd trimester if he/she is stress .. Movement will not be that much.
I believe that do whatever that wouldn't give your body too much stress. So far I have been coping very well, my baby is moving everyday.. alot of movements.
By talking to baby works also. Since the day I got pregnant every night my hubby will spend half hour talking to baby.. Now my baby is moving he reacts very fast when my hubby start talking & whenever I say "daddy" .. Baby will be very excited moving.
dont't worry.. Everything will be soon fine for you! Endure ...
Jia you !
Breakdance? Lol you r so funny!!! How you know he is dancing?
N your hubby is so sweet, I ask mine to talk to me already very difficult ( he is the thinker kind, less expressive ESP at home) let alone talk to baby for 30 min. The most he will do is stroke my tummy n " hello hello anybody?"
