Hi mummies, does your baby make a lot of sounds when they sleep? My boy does, not sure why..
B Zhai, it's day 10 now.
Just went to gynae checked up again, 150/xx without medicine, he said OK now. @.@
How about your Bp? Is it dropping ?
Hey mummies, my boy just vomited when he was lying in his cot. Got me worried.
I am exclusively breastfeeding too...
he was under light therapy for 3D2N and i checked myself into hospital n they brought him to me every 3 hours for feeds. its tiring but i think its worth it - dont know if im being stubborn! waking up every 2.5 - 3 hours is tiring, but hear all these stories of nipple confusion. seems like it is a myth though - mothers seem to be able to do it here!
i tried pumping but didnt like it.
baby used to suckle for few mins n stop, suckled every hour or so. now he feeds better - ever since my milk came in. he suckles more effectively for 10 - 20 mins, n is satisfied for longer.
i got a lactation consultant to come check if baby was ok, suckling n latch on - i think it was really useful. she showed me n practised with baby d different holds n latches until i cld do it on my own. showed me how to pump, showed me how to use d brestfeeding pillow (this pillow saved me!)
was he burped?
mine regurgigates some (little bit, not projectile vomit) milk every now and then cos my confinement lady is lazy to burp him for long. if its some regurgitation better try burp longer, or place baby head side or not sleep flat (my boy leaks a bit of milk to the side)
if its vomit with substantial volume, better call pediatrician...
So far my hubby is the one liaising with them, they are quite prompt in getting back to us. We did not ask if they have food tasting coz not much time anyway. Shall update you if the food is good!

Gg2012, tdy is my day 8. just went gynae chkup, bp 127/97. When I chk at home is always 150/100 like that. Told gynae about it. She say it's ok since I was not on medication since discharge so it's very good already. Ask me dont't worry and try to only monitor every day twice . She say it will drop further n back to normal in 1 month. So guess we dont't worry too much .
Can anyone add me on facebook? My email
