around a week. Usually 3 days within US and another 3 to 4 days to singapore. Borderlinx uses dhl so its faster than vpost, which used to take double the time when i used them.Originally Posted by teriwinkle:662893
Im running out of clothes too. Bought some maternity pants as my office gets very cold but the tummy area getting more uncomfy. I feel the slightest bit of pressure from the waist band. Anyone too? Im thinking of wearing loose regular dresses more often. I can't bring myself to buy maternity dresses as they look too "maternal ".. sigh..
Agree that the maternal dresses design are quite limited. Worried I look very auntie when I wear them. At 4 mths I think we can still afford to wear normal clothes of bigger size n loose cutting. Come later, gonna have a headache . But for the sake of b zhai, I dont't mind looking ugly for a few mths. I'm flying tomorrow morning. All mummies pls take care n talk to you all soon!
Teriwinkle, you wake up every one Hr ? Isn't it very tired and next day sure feel zombie!! -_-
Joasiss, you should wear below the belly and if its not possible to button, just wear a long top and covered it up!
I went out with unbutton and unzipped skirt before! wore a long top to cover it up! heh
Else the maternity stores sell those button extension for jeans and pants..
The ones i have are maternity pants with really high elastic waist and adjustable band. They just seem uncomfortable when i sit down cos the band is around my stomach area. Belly fully covered already. Maybe im wearing them wrongly or the design isn't good. Thanks for all your advice!
Wish i can wear dresses to work without freezing myself with the aircon.
Good idea. Now i need to start shopping for them. Hehe. Where else do you all buy your clothes from?
Hi, i'm new here and im having my #1.
EDD in Nov 6
Doc Phua from Thomson Medical Center
Wow, that's pretty near me. perhaps we'll be neighbours then. haha
Yep I drink alot in the day but the problem is they only come out from my body in the night lol. dont't really drink alot at night. Used to do that though and I had to wake up to the loo 10 times or more.Originally Posted by nature59:662994
And my EDD is 3 nov, delivering in Kandang Kerbau Hospital private suite. Welcome here!!Originally Posted by missyxiaoyi:663071
I bought a maternity pants that has belly covered up as well from spring maternity, was on sale so it's only $34.95, can't bear to buy the normal priced ones plus I dont't really need a lot of formal clothes for work so I guess this pant will last me till birth.
Kop my sister's Ali baba pants, those are really comfortable!! But I'm not sure how the waist band will fit in a few months time. Also bought some maternity dresses from a gf. Now I'm also wearing some loose dresses when work. That's about that bah. Decided not to go for a lot of maternity clothing because they are expensive and doubt I will wear them after birth also because they just make you look preggie!! So better invest in some cheaper clothing which I can convert to casual wear after birth
I want to ask a silly question. If baby wears socks then dont't need for booties issit? Or would booties be a better choice for newborns than socks?
I read somewhere that socks are better because booties fall off easily.Originally Posted by Katherine57:663259
