Hahha.. i feel so excited too reading all of your post preparing yourself nearing to due date. I'm still on wk 31 now, pretty nervous to think that i have less than 9 weeks to go. These few nights i feel so weird, i occasionally find myself wake up in the mid of the night or in the morning sleeping on my back again!! I was sure i'm already used to sleeping on my left side every night for the past few weeks already and i've never woken up to find myself sleeping on my back. But somehow these few nights, baby keep kicking if i sleep on my left side and sometimes i feel like choking too. Any moms experiencing this? I feel pretty scared baby wont have enough oxygen if i keep sleeping on my back..
And another one, i just realized last night that my aerola area super super dry. The dry skin even peel off when i gently rub it. Can i use nipple cream for this or normal lotion will do?
totally agree with Karry. my edd is 22 Sep..legs and fingers starting to swell, painful at times too..walk a while already feel tired..gosh..but thinking of my little one keeps me strong..stay strong all mummies to be!!
Mommiess.. pls advise!!!
I've been having stomach pain since around 9.45am this morning. As i post this now, the pain has stopped for like 3mins. I thought it was gastric pain, so i ate 3 loaves of bread..
Am i supposed to be worried? is this a sign of pre-term labor? I did not know if the pain is similar with stomach cramp during menstruation as i never have those, but it's similar like gastric pain..
Hi eeneyminey.. I asked my gynae this question during second trimester too.. cos I keep finding myself sleeping flat on my back in e morning.. then those articles I read always warn that it may cut off oxygen or blood supply to baby.. So I was really worried..Originally Posted by eeneyminey:676718
But gynae said it is not likely to harm baby.. In the olden times, nobody told the mummies to sleep on their side.. they all sleep on their backs.. and e babies turn out fine.. I thought it is quite true.. that being said, she still dont encourage sleeping on the back cos baby will be exerting pressure on our backs resulting in backaches.. so she recommend that I put pillows behind my back (which I did)..
Hi lizzy, issit ok to massage now? I rem during prenatal class they say dont do anything to the breasts until after 36 weeks to avoid early labour.. so I dont even dare touch.. hahaha..Originally Posted by lizzy2101:676730
Your baby will be nice and chubby my stomach is still small I feel... But the baby's weight seems normal, maybe I just hav a big stomach so lotsa space fr baby...
Yup I will miss not having menses!! I always get very bad cramps!!! It's gg to be over soon... Jiayou!! Endure through the final lap~
My baby now already very chubby, can see her fat chubby cheeks in the ultrasound scan... My stomach is really darn huge!! And fat too >< still flabby even when now so full w baby, and with overweight baby, doc still says got plenty of space n fluid...
Hey ladies, anyone of you going for c-sec? I'm coming to 35 weeks soon and baby is in a transverse breech position (horizontal across my belly). Hence, my gynae is pretty firm on me going for c-sec as she feels the baby is unable to turn cuz of his size... yea, big baby!! The plan is to take him out at about 38 weeks unless he manages to turn last min! So the big decision now is c-sec with epidural or GA. Any ladies can advice if better with epidural or GA? I am considering epidural so I can see my baby immediately but at the same time, I'm afraid I'll freak out on the operating table
Wonder how many of you actually feel the same way.. everyday I am thinking, "Can I just give birth already..." lol
My EDD is around the 9th Sept and I am working till end of August. Sleeping is definitely a chore, I feel like I pee more than I sleep and my back aches more after I wake up. Yea and suddenly having period is not that bad.. haha
