@Kokura: who's your gynae? blacklist! :P my gynae is very helpful too! very comfortable to ask and tell her anything and she doesn't have qualms to inform me..
nura sayang: hello! my due date is on the 11 of Dec but 3 weeks ago I saw the due date moved to the 9 of Dec..
lilmissy: hahahah! thanks to my mom and sisters!
chocoholic: yup.. i did that but i tend to kick the pillow of my bed. heheheh :P
Chocoholic : yes I'm full time housewife & full time mom.
Oic you delivered at mt.a.
Hopefully all goes well...
Hi muffie: ohk. Yes sometimes early 1weeks sometimes late 1weeks it depend.
So your due on 9dec? Which hospital did you go?
Kokura: hehehe... tis unexpected no planning...
So when is your due kokura?
LilMissy: ya if the pain go away by itself after awhile guess i shldnt be too worried...
Kokura: i have groin pain quite often even if i am not peeing. i think its just baby pushing onto the cervix due to weight. Braxton Hicks comes with contraction pain like menses cramp and tummy will feel very hard suddenly. but usually it goes away by its own.
mrschievious: you r right on the tummy hard part! can be really uncomfortable ><
ch0c0h0lic: probably is stretching pain! now on my sides i will feel very bad stretching pain too. dont't know what position to sleep will be more comfortable
nura sayang: the pain did go away on it's own eventually so it's fine. just find it uncomfortable when it happens. heh
By the way, how much weight have you all gain so far? I am 26 weeks and 2 more days to 27 weeks and I have put on 9kg. :/ Baby is about 1kg 2 days ago when I went for my check up. my gynae say its healthy gain and baby weight is healthy range also. but i find it abit too much lol
And do you all have very round tummy? Mine is like B shape from the side. There is a term for such belly and it's called B Belly. I wish mine will become very soon so i can take nice maternity shots. heh
Which gynae did you go to? I better "blacklist" him. :P
Now 28 weeks. I gained 12kg, baby is 1.2kg
I am so itchy on my breasts that there are scratches and rashes on them. So ugly!
I didn't change bra size because wanted to save $$$ and I kept wearing A cups until the itch got so bad my mom helped me buy C cups 2 weeks ago.
My friend didn't wear bra during her pregnancy due to the itch.
And yes! Tummy stretches tight when I eat more. I miss buffets!!
selp: I dont wear bra when I sleep even before I got pregnant... but dont't wear will be painful these days due to the weight and sensitive nipples. :/ some things really cannot save... nursing bra doesnt cost too much. wearing a suitable bra will not affect the development of your breast for breast feeding.
I am considering catering of confinement food after my CL leave after 1 month. 2nd month will probably hit CNY so might have problem looking for suitable food to eat.
I believe most mummies are wearing maternity underwear now. Do you feel very tight at your tummy after a meal, so tight you feel like removing your underwear???
kokura: gynae can determine the weight of the baby thru the ultrascan one. I am wearing maternity underwear that cuts below the belly so it wont feel tight after meals. is your cut under the belly or over?
Gosh, my gynae never once told me the weight of my baby.
My maternity underwear is above the belly button. I was told by the sales staff at Sinma that this will not affect the baby's development.
If yours cut below the belly button, wouldn't not that affect the baby's development???
kokura: check with your gynae at your next appointment? he or she shld be able to determine base on the size of the baby. cut below or above is personal preference but bcoz belly will keep growing so It will only get tighter if its cut over the belly. so I got the below one which can last me longer
I got mine from spring maternity and mothercare. Spring maternity's pregnancy inner wear are more reasonable priced and comfortable. I am wearing their nursing bra too. IIRC the underwear shld be 10-ish for 2 pcs.
missA: yah i was thinking of the same thing.. after CL leave, could b quite difficult to find food since cny plus mother in law may not b free to cook for me too.. and i got to cope with taking care of baby.. so mayb cater food will b a good idea.. have you check out any catering co?
kokura: i'm currently not wearing any maternity underwear.. just normal underwear in XL.. haha.. butt grown so big now.. my mother in law bought 2 XL maternity underwear for me, but i feel like a big baby when i wear it, coz it will wrap half of my tummy.. oh, and my gynae also never tell me baby weight, just said everything is fine.. mayb dont want me to worry too much.. i think you can still afford to put on more.. i put on 8-9 kg already.. *sweat*
selp: wah.. bra too tight not good .. mayb that why breasts itchy, coz abrasion from the tightness of the bra.. sho get bigger bra mah then can show abit of our new found bigger assets! hahaha! i also have scar on my breast.. bcoz of my infection.. abit worried that infection will affect me gg for breastfeeding next time.. hmm..
ch0c0h0lic: I was thinking of Thomson Medical Center's catering . maybe next gynae appt I go check them out. I heard their soup is very good haha
I'm not exactly sure what's the definition of "gain", cuz I was around 58kg before I was pregnant, then my weight dropped to 54kg when i found out that I'm pregnant (I had very bad morning sickness, bloating, acid reflux and heart burn). My last weighing measurement was 59kg when I was 27w2d. I'm 27w4d today. So I guess I've gained 1kg so far? Or should I say I've gained 5kg so far?
