Oh I'm having girl! Hehe
I got lost in the active thread!
mine's a girl too. and i just downloaded the baby market checklist as well. It makes life so much easier. LoL!
I've decided that i'll prolly get the Phillips Avent Twin pump, can choose between manual and electronic. but i wonder how much it'll cost.
So excited to go for the baby fair again coz i feel like i know what to look for!! Wonder if i need a trolley..LoL!
Are you mummies going to cut your hair before your Dec EDD??? Are we allowed to have a haircut???
I cannot imagine doing confinement with hair that is below my shoulders...
Wow.. the threads moving so fast these few days! just catch up a little on some old topics..
Norzulfa: i think its better to sign up the ante-natal class at the hospital that you planning to deliver. sometimes may get disc.. i'm having mine at Mt A.. cheaper coz i plan to deliver there too..
kokura: mayb you can try to avoid those foods that can create alot of gases? i think garlics, onions & cabbages usually r quite gassy..
visualspells: Congrats! my EDD is 1 day before you! and i'm planning to deliver at Mt A too.. mayb we will see each other, IF our babies are on time.. r you planning to take single or dbl room? my husbands join me for the ante-natal classes.. i think it is good bonding time for us and baby.. but watching those labour/delivery video seems like watching horror movies! lol!
LilMissy & faith86 & mrschievious: i also thot if take more than 1 wk, i may be too bored at home.. haha! esp when hubby wun b around most of the day times too.. but i also heard sometimes common to go into labour 2 wks before EDD.. thou i hope baby will wait till i'm on leave.. oh and r you all taking public tpt? by Dec, we should be very heavy.. dont know hw to squeeze on mrt also.. hmm..
selp & mrschievious: i have signed up with Cord life on the cord blood banking.. the $$ can be deducted from the baby bonus, so dont have to pay now.. i think quite worth.. mayb for mine 2nd child i will choose to donate.
camcam: you still looks slim!
just went for my gynae visit today and baby is weighing about 1.15kg.. hee! but still in breech position..
kokura: i think a haircut is fine .. but i think its easier to just tie up the hair then cut short and cant tie it up..
selp: i also hope to get a gal for the next round! hee.. 1 boy & 1 gal is ideal!
phoebe: your gal will b hot property next time! with so many boys chasing.. keke!
@chocoholic: you sure are catching up..lol... :P ya, so i'll just stick to the one week before EDD. although i think it'll be quite chaotic if my girl decides to pop out at work.... :P considering i work in a hospital. haha! i'm still taking public, when i can . but i drive on some days, so it's not so bad.
My hubby has been talking about delivery with his colleagues. he is totally freaking out. LOL!
LilMissy: haha! yah! my hubby was saying.. mayb just have 1 child is enuff.. delivery seem such a torture.. LOL! but i was telling him, the most difficult part is actually bringing up the child ..
i'm still taking public tpt too.. but sometimes the mrt (esp evening) are so pack, dont know hw to get in also..
wah working in hospital? helps r nearby then.. hee! i think sho b fine if you drive.. just put the delivery bag in the car boot..
I'm taking public transport too - buses. So far I'm lucky that the bus route I take usually the buses are not that packed. And most of the time, people will give up their seat for me.
I'll start to go on leave from last week of November. Catch up on some rest and sleep before I pop. Hopefully he pops exactly on the EDD (9 Dec).
@chocoholic: lol...but my hospital doesnt have a&e..haha! :P if keep an emergency bag in the car, i'll prolly have to consider keeping another one in office, just in case..haha!
@chocoholic I took the single bedder for my stay at Mt A as my hubby wants to spend the first night with our little bundle of joy! When do you start your prenatal classes? Mine's gonna start this Sat And I'm so excited for it!
I am having a girl too! So many pretty things to buy..
Taking the train to work is still ok for me as usually i will get a seat (big tummy) :P . But gg home is the worst.
Cant board & even if can, most likely cramped in between people and i find that evening harder to get ppl to give up seat, i think everyone is tired after a day's work! haha
Will be starting on the pregnancy classes this weekend and gg to the Expo fair on Friday.
Getting busy with alot of things..
Me & hubby looking for a car actively too. So excited now that we are mostly in our third trimester already!
im not taking any leave before my EDD so most probably going to be working all the way till the lil one decides to pop. *grin*
strawberryjay: i agree with harder to get seats during the evening train ride home coz usually most of them wud be sleeping.. thank god i have a straight bus home from work and i'll definitely get seats..
visualspells: i already started my ante-natal class at mt a in Sep.. took weekdays slot.. looking at the cost of the ward, i most prob will take dbl bed.. also thinking that i can rest more after everyone goes back too.. and mayb can shower secretly..
strawberryjay: i totally agreed! evening very hard coz cant squeeze in with our big tummy.. and even if squeeze in, ppl dont see us and dont give up seats.. me & hub are planning to get a car too.. any car model that you have shortlisted??
LilMissy: i think 1 bag in car should be fine? coz your hubby will definately zoom down rite? hee..
mrschievious: i think some time easier to get seats on bus then mrt.. or mayb its just the evening rush hour.. i always tell myself not to b too sad/irritated that nobody give up seat.. haha!
Muffie: wah you r very hard working!
Chocoholic: Cars are really ex! Shld be Korean or jap cars.. Going to car dealers this weekend. But i leave the decision to my hubby.. I focus on baby stuff. haha.
He mentioned Honda Civic, Hyundai (dont know what model) & there is a Mazda available but dont think we will go for that as everyone says fuel consumption will be high.

@chocoholic: hubby doesnt drive. so everybody has been teasing him that he will still make me drive to labour..lol! and oh, hubby and i are working at the same place, which makes it even more convenient..lol..
@strawberryjay: i'm also going to the baby fair on friday! so exciting! and yes, mine is a girl too..heehee...
@muffie: you very garang ha....haha!
chocoholic: not so hardworking .. haha kind of lazy also to work..
always feel sleepy and tired at work. hehehe
lilmissy: hahah! no garang ..
