I've booked Ashley too!! Together w NB package..hehehehe...i like it that they will give us the digital copies...as well as like her style of NB photography in their new mini studio...
Have you seen your photos??
Not yet, Vodka. She suppose to show us the photos within 2 weeks for selection : ) most probably will see it this weekend I guess ... Haha.. Really looking forward : ) I did bring a lot of DIY stuffs and some maternity photos that I like to show Ashley and eventually the shooting dragged to 2 hours.. Haha..
Yours one is indoor or outdoor? Also, Have you taken the shooting already? Anyway, Have fun ya!!
I'm just wondering, should I bring my breast pump to the hospital as well ?
Cos as far as I am in for, I will go fully direct latch on with no pumping at all during the first week or so...direct latch on would be the most efficient way to increase milk supply.
Ohh..Then you are very busy, Ryca. Shifting place is not an easy task. Great to hear that your hubby is on 3 weeks leave.
can check it out more on this website. Group B streptococcus screening | BabyCenter
Can I check with you Ashley's charges? Does he/she have a website to refer to?
:-) Thank you....
? I fall sick again... Got cough & flu... Sigh... Althou i never go out of house as get too tired easily. Get heartburn more frequent also. Leg cramps - yes. Swollen - No.
Baby is dancing alot too. Even wen during a walk to nearby ntuc, he'll moved - which is oh so uncomfortable & made me stop my pace till he shift to another position... >_<*
just did my 34weeks scan, baby weighing 2.0kg.. 4more weeks till my C-sec hehe
Today I had d worst feel. Woke up n there was yellow brownish discharge which is totally diff from our norm. Suspected its d mucus plug! Called up my gynae n Thomson Medical Center hotline, they also think its mucus plug n advised me to go down for a check at clinic or labour ward. did not go in d end cos 2nd time to toilet no more discharge n dont feel any contraction as they will put me on ctg machine again to check. Had a contraction that last quite long n so painful. Worst menstrual cramp feel with horrible back ache as in gg to break my bone. Dizzy n feel vomiting n diarrhea cramp, so I went to toilet again. dont feel any better. Can't sit can't lay down, nothing at all helps. After few hours only subside.
Not sure when will b D day??? A little regret to go for natural. :-/
wow it sounds terrible.. are you all ready? Take care, you can do it and keep us updated if possible hehe
Hi Apr Gal,
I had the horrible cramps n lower back, hips ache (as if they are tearing apart) and my Gynae gave me a prescription of Ventolin (which last time I use it for asthma).
it came on every 3 - 4 hours, and when the cramps hit me, I feel the urge of diarrhea n feel nausea (really start vommitting). But I did not experience bleeding.
It got better (as in no more diarrhea n vommitting), cramps n contractions still comes on n off.
my comfort remedy are as follows:-
sit up on a chair (with proper back cushion n bum cushion), do deep breathing (like yoga) - breathe in hold 5 secs, slowly breathe out.
Concentrate on your breathing and do it a for about 10 cycles.
If the pain comes again, I change approach: pant pant blow
(just like what I was taught in antenatal class for 1st stage of labour.
The main purpose is to divert all attention on your breathing n let your brain forget about the pain signals.
Hope this will help as a temporary relief. We are here for you: do update us on your well being, k?
hugs, Princess CC
D pain can't b compared to d usual menstrual cramps, it's worst by many many times! Luckily managed to sleep well last nite

going all natural without any form or minimal drugs will benefit your baby when she comes out. So hang in there, women are created to bear childbirth...
The breathing techniques suggested by Princess CC sounds like a good method to counter the labour contractions and take the mind off the contraction discomfort.
Hang in there babe
