StellaC: oh~ So I am not the only one. The vagina swap test was like $50 and I was a little shock because it's just a swap on my vagina surface. I almost thought my "carrot was chopped" by the new gynae.
So exciting! Many of you ladies are already considered full term. I'm only 34 weeks and already getting some contractions daily. It's really getting heavier. I recently have mild cough and sneezing and it hurts my stomach ( think its the round ligaments ). Sigh.
The last stretch for us ladies! I'm gonna miss the baby moving inside though not the excess weight and discomfort!
really hope i can endure til my EDD 7 Sep cos that's my husband's birthday too. but looking at the rate things are going, like baby's weight and how i am feeling (backache, the weight i have to carry etc) should be earlier than that.
i wished i had started my brisk walks earlier, i was focusing on pilates and my gynae told me that actually pilates is not helpful for the delivery procedure cos we need to do cardio to build stamina.. like brisk walks and swimming. sigh. pilates is more for building core muscles... now wanna brisk walk also very hard and painful on the bladder cos baby pressing down.
A mummy: But PAP smear includes more than just a swap right? This virgina swap test is only using a swap to pick up the discharge for test, nothing more. Ahhhh, feels so cheated!
Last night, I have started to feel some weird feeling on my pelvic area. It's some weight is pressing on my pelvic, a little cramp/numb and when I walk, there's a little ache. I know it's normal since baby's head is down now, but is it too early for me? My EDD is only end of Sept.
Dear Mummy, please remember to share your story on The Big Day after delivery.
Skt, my EDD 15sep. Hope she doesn't choose to come earlier. I am sure I will miss the days her squirming inside. So cute!!
@stellac - really Pilates is not useful??? I am due to renew my Pilates package this week... Maybe I shouldn't!! I have been doing Pilates and yoga.
My gynae advise about 30 mins walking n climbing some stairs..will help in smoother delivery..when I was 35 weeks lil one already 2.45kg..hopefully dhe dont grow too fast..I dont want Michelin baby...
Morning ladies! Wanted to check, anyone has already found a pediatrician for their babies? Any recommendations? And for those having boys, will you be circumcising immediately if at all?
Hello mummies! I didn't received any email notifications hence Didnt check for messages here.
just had my gynae check up. baby weighs 2.4kg at week 35. Gynae says ok n that the baby measurement n my actual due date is very accurate.
Thought baby is bigger than what I expected. Have GDM too n have been watching my diet! dont know how some of you manage to get over 2.11kg baby! Easier to come out right? Ha..
@raoow - I m having boy n want to do circumcision but Didnt ask around yet! Hmm n looking out for pediatrician too! But have not't found any. Think it's good to get one nearby our house at a clinic instead of hospital? I m not sure lei
yea mummies! We have to update each other about good news ok!
wanted to wish all a very safe delivery with healthy babies and mummies!!
Sorry.. Typo. Not wanted but want to wish!
also for those mummies who want to put on weight for baby n not on yourself..
Eat beef/fish (protein) as it goes to baby n cut down on carbo as it goes to us!
I m now in wk33,detail scan show baby is healthy . Gynae says its within normal ..
