Hey Mummies,
How much do you pay for the deposits for the booking of Hospital bed (delivery package)?

Just checked with the nurses on the package. Mine is at TMC, and most likely taking up a 4 bedded (hopefully they can upgrade me to 2 bedded). The package for normal delivery will be about $2980+ (need to pay deposit of $800 for Hospital charges + $200 Delivery charges). Which the hospital may refund the balance to you if didnt exceed the amount.

mine is the same. Deposit to be $800 (not too sure about the delivery charge deposit) - gonna check.

my normal delivery package is $3480, for 2 bedded.
so far, i have paid half $1740, i think.
wow, definitely Baby Bonus not enough to cover.

Or just claim for delivery procedures?

i don have much idea..

I paid gynae $650 for prenatal care. another $200 for blood test and another $108 for detail scan.

Deposit for admission is $600 2 bedded at MtA.

he roughly tells me the cost for total delivery:

1. 2 bedded normal w epi $1300 to $1500 ( the labour ward, bed, food , etc )
2. Epi specialist charges $500-$600
3. Gynae charges (his charges) $500 for delivery
4. Baby PD fees ( checkup after born in Hosp ) $350

Total: $3050

Medisave max can less $1800 ( including the $450 prenatal cost if you got keep the package receipt from ur gynae )

Total cash need to pay: $1250
after less the deposit need to pay $: 650

So how much CASH do we need to prepare for delivery?

Still got tp pay $2k for the confinement nanny, at least $150 for confinement food, $500 for massage lady, about $300 for Baby Full month celebration. Actually close to $3k after delivery. OH NO. Got to cost me a BOMB...

i tink put aside 1.2k cash shld be ok...

I not gettin comfinement nannny so not really spending alot...

Massage lady mine charges $32 per session usually they say 1st 7 session do in straight row den subsequently once a wk.

As for baby full mth, if u have relatives they give ang bao and gold can cover de..

i rmb last time i spend abt $700 for full mth. Buffet at home invite DH side relatives, frenz and colleagues. Cakes i give my side already cost $200plus i tink roughly

if delivery natural and smooth, smooth, then lucky.
If not, really bigger SUM of $$$.

Those mayb charging 50 to 70 got do baby msg mine don have...

some gd ones don service jurong so i no choice use this...

sigh, just came back from the doc visit...
my baby is still in breech position...
doc tried to push her down. but pain la...
she stopped after i told her its pain... Sigh...

ooh, i just back from hospital..

Went swimming with DS then was hit by a very powerful water jet onmy vagina. Felt water gushing out.. Wasnt sure if is water bag cos i m still in the pool. i suspect water bag leaking so went hospital.. Lucky nurse say no leak no problem so i was discharge after my gynae check me ( abt 2 hrs later )

Luckyno premature delivery my BB only 1.3kg so small later need ICU
