Corn Chowder (7 - 9 months)

Time: 20 mins Difficulty: Easy Serving Size: 6-8	Description: Delicious soup for baby
Ingredients:
350g potato 100g carrot 1 small onion 350ml full fat milk 75g frozen sweetcorn
Preparation:
Peel and dice potato Peel and dice carrot Chop finely onion
Instructions:
Put all the ingredients except the sweetcorn into a saucepan. Bring to the boil, cover, then lower the heat and simmer for 10-12 mins or until the vege are tender. Add the sweetcorn to the pan and cook for 5 more mins. Discard the bay leaf, then puree the milk and vege mixture in a blender or food processor, blending in batches if necessary, until the desired consistency has been reached.

just a warning to mummies who have 'sensitive babies'....

Corn is a potential allergen....try not to introduce it too early, esp if your child has ezcema or any other allergic related problems....

my boy is allergic to corn...will get super bad flare up when given corn...so best to be more observent when intro new foods...
