Ingredients:
  1. 1/2 egg yolk
  2. 80g lean pork
  3. 10 green peas
  4. rice
Instructions:
  1. Hard boil egg till done. Remove 1/2 egg yolk. Mash it and set aside.
  2. Wash green peas.
  3. Wash pork. Scald half of lean pork in boiling water briefly and drain. Chop the remaining half finely (season with a bit of cornstarch to make the pork soft).
  4. Wash rice and drain.
  5. Put all ingredients (except egg yolk) into a slow cook and set on high for about an hour and switch to auto or low until congee is to your preferred texture.
  6. Add mash egg yolk and serve.
  7. The uncut pork is only to enhance taste of congee.

Usually I'll just scald them to clean it first
