Prepare a portion of the plain rice porridge.
While the porridge is cooking, prepare the fish and vegetables.
Rinse and clean the whitebait and chop them coarsely.
Clean, wash and drain spinach. Chop vegetables finely.
When the porridge is ready, add the chopped spinach and cook for 5 mins.
Now stir in the chopped whitebait and leave to cook for a further 2 mins. Stir and break up the fish against the pot with the back of a ladle.
Cool the porridge till it is lukewarm and feed the baby an amount suitable to the child's age and appetite.
