I had been having headaches on-off since end of week 6. It is very irritating and it gets worst if I am doing some serious work at home. It gets lessen when i close eyes and relax.
how do you girls deal with this if you have the same experience?
had that before. doctor advise to rest more aka sleep. which i did and it did become better. it is due to the hormones.
i have headaches the whole day, sometime mild sometime strong one. if i cannot stand will take panadol as gynae say it's safe. it's quite common to experience it just try to rest as much as you can, applying peppermint oil behind the neck helps too.
Me too!! I got migraine problem before I get pregnant.... It's very painful and I dont dare to eat any medicine to cure it, normally will last for few day and it always happen during the weekend, sian

But not very serious in my first trimester, and it subside when I am about 15 weeks..
Heard from others mummy mentions that drink 100 plus can help to reduce the headache.
Maybe you can try..
Few more weeks to go you will enter the 2nd trimester..
When I reach 2nd trimester, now I'm 16wks preggie, had frequent headaches perhaps due to not enuff sleep.
So I call up my gynae & spoke to her, she advise me to chk my bp since I have the bp set. She say should not be more 140/90. She also ask me to rest more.
If more, can go nearest clinic or family clinic.
But so far after self test, my BP is fine.
I tink perhaps I dont have enuff sleep coz at nite I have difficulty in sleeping.
So rest more gals ...
I have more dizzy spells compare to headaches.
dont't worry, i drink alot of 100plus during 1st trimester. it actually helps me alot when i have morning sickness.
Headaches can be caused by tension, congestion, constipation, or in some cases, preeclampsia. They can occur anytime during pregnancy.
Here are some advices:
1. Apply an ice pack to your forehead or the back of your neck.
2. Rest, sit, or lie quietly in a low-lit room. Close your eyes and try to release the tension in your back, neck, and shoulders.
Contact your doctor if you have nausea with your headaches, if your headache is severe and does not go away, or if you have blurry vision, double vision, or blind spots
