I dont't quite know what is bed rest and what qualifies one for a bed rest?
For working MTBs, when you are granted bed rest, do you worry about work? Like the piling of work and especially if you are are important person at work, do you worry about your job?
I heard some bed rest can go for as long as thruout the entire pregnancy! Isit true??
I think the gynae really knows if he/she should "confine" you to the bed..Some MTBs even have to be on bedrest AND warded for a long period of time throughout their pregnancy..
High-risk pregnancies and threathened miscarriages are some of the criterias for bed-rest..
For whatever reason it is..I think we should listen to our gynaes and give our bodies a thorough rest if we're ordered to do so..
Am currently on bed rest (or CRIB = Complete Rest in Bed).
Normally is either you have an unstable pregnancy, or a threatened miscarriage or if you were having multiples and lost 1 of the fetus.
For me mine was cuz of the last reason, so to stabilize the 2nd fetus, need to be on bed rest so that the miscarriage would not happen to the 2nd fetus
Doctor never said when i could be off bed rest, depending on how the mummy-to-be progress and improves from there.
For me, as i was working a hectic work life, for me to be on sudden bed rest was painful for my boss (i was covering my usual work and on a super big project at the same time) i am still like partially working, but from my bed. but when i feel tired or after awhile, i stop and go back to nap or watch tv. i tend not to want to work on bed for prolonged hours.
partly is cuz im born workaholic and i cant stop working, partly is to relieve/minimize the pain my boss feels from my absence.
