read fr mag that to curb morning sickness, once you wake up, before get out of bed, eat some biscuits 1st. have something in tummy. but dont know how true 'cause i'm blessed w no morning sickness that time.
ppl say if 1st preggy very ez, not much discomfort. 2nd 1 usu very jialat 1. dont know how true. if so, i dont want No. 2 already. hahaha...
omg...i have the same case with you...1st one ok..not so bad..only vomit less than 5 times..
i think i have one colleague first one ok, second one jialet...is this a trend? or just like old tales? hahah
me first jialet till dear son born, never what at all... everyday drinnk water only...
2nd one only 1st trimester, now my appetite super good !
I am experiencing the same prob as you gals.. I'm in my 8 weeks of pregnancy and came to knew recently from my gynae that my baby has heartbeat already. Was really very happy!!
Experiencing MS lately and was very senstitive to the smell of food! The moment I saw ppl eating food, I feel like vomitting already! That feeling is indeed not good.
Trying to overcome this prob by having sour plums, starting it does help. But later I guess it didnt help mi in stopping the nausea. now i'm still trying my best to eat something more nourishing so that my baby can have some nutrients intake too.
Saw some ways of stopping MS, I'll try those soon! Hope it acts well on me! Cheers!
(5 weeks plus of pregnancy )...
So far i never experience any vomitting... or lost of appetite...
Most of the time... my stomach is always bloated, still can eat but not too much... specially like spicy.. and soup-based food.
So far never feel giddy but always feel sleepy...
WHat is morning sickness, is it just only one symptom or comprises of many symptons?
- Feeling giddy?
- Feeling bloating?
- loss of appetite?
- always feel hungry?
- Abdominal cramp?
- feeling tired/ sleepy?
All above or just one of them? ...
usually during the first trimester..most moms will lose a bit of wt due to MS...
I've gain about 2kg since i know i'm preg during the 7th week.
have super good appetite but can't eat much at 1 go. need to eat every 2 - 3hrs. So afraid i'll gain alot thru out the whole preg. Am already 73kg before i found out. dont't wanna go to 90+.... sob sob....
Thank God no vomitting but always feel nausea & have headache + dizzy spell sometimes. How i envy mummys that dont't have to work. Able to rest at home =(
I'm new to the forum.
I dont't experience that much MS but very strong food aversions - the sight of certain foods makes me want to throw up almost immediately. Am quite worried cos I dont't feel like eating much and I know this will affect my baby.
does anyone only experience super giddiness but no vomitting? cause i experience alot of heavy giddiness but no vomitting, only nausea.. and all these usually happen during the same time, late afternoon. is it alright ?
can try mix fruit juice...watermelon mix with citrus like orange is best. it helps for me....then after that took bread. I hate to nibble on cracker, too dry, make me feel worst.....
Avoid tomatoes which will cause heatburns and nausea.
I couldn't stomach plain water when I was in my 1st tri. I had to resort to ribena. But the hubster frowned on it, saying that plain water is the best. So we did some trial-n-error experiment. *lol* later found out that I can at least take in warm plain water, just not at room temp. haha.. guess baby's a lil' bit fussy huh.
I also carry with me sour plums and dried mango slices wherever I go. To think that I used to not like them before I got pregnant. Now I'm in my 2nd tri., appetite getting better already. But yeah... MS during 1st tri. was quite an experience!!
you can put some lemons into plain water to drink...one slice enuf...like what the restaurants used to serve.
