must avoid cats coz i heard there is one disease associated with cats that may cause miscarriage one.. better siam when you see one .
ehhh i never heard of avoiding cats before lehhh... during my preggy time, i also got walk pass cats and didnt bother
haha so many pan tang things to follow. I also never heard about the avoiding cats. I also walk pass cats alot of times when i preggy. The sharp things i also didn't know must carry when we out at night. I'm not a pan tang person but when i preggy, alot of things my mother in law say cannot i still follow. Becos to play safe better than sorry.
think cats pretty hard to avoid ..
my multi-storey carpark, always have cats hanging around 1..
but still i will try my best to avoid looking at the cats now..haha.
but for carrying nails..what type of nails??
my doc say just avoid cat, those they carry some kind of germs that will affect the baby....... but like what every one mention.. how to, they r just evry where......
as for carrying sharp objects... how ?? put them in our bag? or gotta literally wear it??
i went malaysia for a short weekend, i took a safety pin, and pin on my top to sleep.
but other than sleeping, i doesnt carry it with me.
but after reading, i think i will carry something sharp with me. hee..
i think iam just really gonna take it easy... seems like a million things to watch out for... making myself very stress out, end up back for the baby...
so i've decided, chill !
Hm..I think there are many ways to wear it some people sew a cloth around their nail then pin it to their tops. Some (with long hair) will tie up their hair in a bun and slit the nail in the bun (like chopcticks) which makes me wonder if using sharp chopsticks will have the same effect. As for me I put it in a small organza pouch which I carry around (in my bag/pocket/in my hand)
Btw its not just nails, small scissors, safety pin and swiss knife will do.
Neways, I dont know how effective it is but I guess better safe then sorry right..
I dont always carry it around cause sometimes I forget . However I will always bring it when I am touring with my hubi or if I am going out on a late night.
There are alot of pantangs..different culture, different pantangs however seems that some pantangs are shared by diff cultures too..
anyone heard that we cannot buy baby stuffs till 1mth before the baby is due??
i was chatting with my friend, and she told me, cannot do shopping till 1 month before due date.
ya...i was also shopping around for unisex stuffs, and looking for 2nd hand playpen. til my friend said that..i suddenly stopped everything..=_=
my grandma just passed away and my mom and all the aunties are pan tang and asked me to avoid the funeral feel kind of weird
For normal people.. If there's white matter in the family i think you need to wait 100days before attending other people's wedding.. As for preggie to attend wedding.. I think it's up to your believe whether red matter and red matter will clash or not.. and also inform the couple for their decision whether to let a preggie attend or not.. But during my wedding.. there are people who attended without letting me or my husband know she have white matter in her family that have not pass the 100days thing and also another friend is preggie.. luckily nothing went wrong during the event..

My in laws bought baby clothes during mid of my 2nd trimester. The rocker chair etc during late 2nd trimester. And baby's stroller n bed 2 days before she popped! I was waiting for hubby to come back to SG before shopping together in the end i was admitted into hospital to be induced then hubby rushed to go buy.
As long as you (mtbs) avoid touching these cats be it stray or home pet with your hands, it should be fine to walk around any stray cats or watever.
Anyone know whether preg woman can visit friend who just delivered baby in da hospital? Coz my friend gonna deliver nxt month... Can I visit her in the hospital?
