Re: When to inform company

I inform my company after the first 3 mths of my pregnancy. I also let them know my edd so that they have time to look for a replacement if needed.

Cos my company dont allow the staff to bring forward the annual leave to next year or encash it, so I also let my boss knows that I will be clearing my leave before i go for my maternity leave.

Re: When to inform company

i informed my boss after 12 weeks...
After 1st trimester is the best cos pregnancy is considered stable, not supertitious or what... and dont inform too late cos company will need to do resource planning....
Unless, well,, if got bad MS and always MC, then cant really wait till 12 weeks right?

Depends on nature of your job. I informed around 8 weeks cos my job requires travelling and I have to tell boss to avoid travelling.

Re: When to inform company

I inform my manager when I am around 8 weeks because I need to take time off to visit gynae.

My company deicide to down size, so bo pian I have to inform my GM and HR about my situation.

I will service the company until end of the month and of course I get a very good compensation.

Frankly speaking, I work in the company less than 1 year. Appreciated my Manager try very hard to fight for me the good package.

Re: When to inform company

I informed my boss after 8 weeks pregnancy..First 2 months i always had to take MC as my MS was really bad..But then again,my boss is sooo insensitive and would also scold me for always seeing doctor..!! She's not married, never been pregnant before so i guess that is a reason for her to behave
like that!!

I never inform my company, only asked my manager for opinion if I need to or not. She told me I can keep quiet if I want so I just keep quiet, anyway I also do not know to tell. Haha..
